"The moving in process was rather convenient. The apartments are located in a good location (Rose District). The moving out process took a ugly turn dealing with the Landlord (Jane). I gave a 30 day notice after paying the 12 month agreement. Jane never gave me my deposit back and said she was charging me two extra months rent for not giving a 60 day notice. Keep in mind that the rent is $850 so that's $1,700 in expenses that I did not agree to pay. Scam!"
"I lived here for a year and it was horrible. Management here is Horribly rude. I had horrible neighbors who would turn up there music and smoke in the apartment. I went to Management multiple times and they never did anything to help, only made it worse. They had rented the apartment below me to someone that had a warranty for battery to a pregnant woman. I was scared for my daughter and I lives, after the many threats we got. I started carrying, I was so scared."
"I lived here for a year, and it was amazing. Staff was great and friendly. Any time I had any kind of issues they were right on it and got it fixed for me before I ever got home from work. Never had any problems with any of my neighbors. I would highly recommend."
"I lived at Hickory Grove for 3 years. The location is nice the apartments aren't in great shape (stairs and balconies falling apart, cracks in the walls) but there livable. There is one main problem with this property that will continue to deter new people from moving in or staying there long term, that is the property manager Jane. She's is an unprofessional and disrespectful person. I experienced everything from her yelling at me and my roommates in person to fraudulent notices on my door and harassing emails. I wouldn't move here if you can avoid it."
"Great place to live! I've been here for 2+ years. Everyone at the office is always nice and helpful, maintenance stays on top of everything and gets it done quickly. They never enter without a few days notice and they always knock. I've never seen or heard any crime around here, never had trouble with my cars or apartment being broken into or vandalized. Neighbors are friendly and it's usually peaceful."
