Willow Walk Apartments

"I love Willow walk apartments so far! I’ve been here since Feb. 1st. My apartment is cozy & perfect size for myself. I have had a small roach problem, but when I contact Megan about it she always responds immediately & will have it sprayed. Megan is great! She always responds when I need her & is there to help with anything I need! I gave 5 stars!!"

"I would give a negative 5 stars if it Google allowed it. Megan has been the apartment manager for 2 years. She is rude, unprofessional and incompetent. She repeatedly talks down to the residents and repeatedly harasses tenants. Tenants are required to register their vehicles (up to 2 vehicles) to park in the resident parking area (others are required to park in the guest parking which is hundreds of feet from my apartment door). I have both my vehicles registered as required. THREE times she has patrolled the parking lot after hours and put huge STICKY sticker notices on my vehicles threatening to tow my vehicle if I park there again. I've confronted her each time, informing her that my vehicles are registered and I almost always park in the same parking spot daily. She denied that she checks the tenant registration records saying that she is doing the best she can and puts stickers on the cars based on if she can remember the vehicles as tenant-owned or non-tenant owned. Ive lived at this apartment complex for over 5 years and the prior manager (Wilmer) never put a threat to tow sticker on my vehicles. She has done it 3 times in 6 months, each time Ive informed her that it was placed in error. She was rude each time, told me not to talk to her in the parking lot because she "wasn't clocked in", yet she was patrolling the parking lot issuing threatening warnings. The stickers do not peel off and leave a messy residue of adhesive and paper, requiring strong chemicals and days of elbow grease to remove the mess. This is harassment in the purest form. She also enters my apartment for routine maintenance without informing me or obtaining my consent. She also leaves rude childish notes on apartment doors, that is unprofessional, often posting these notices on the office door. She has been seen often in the parking late at night with her boyfriend (security/maintenance man) severely intoxicated and vomiting in the parking lot. This is a family complex and this is not acceptable. This is a nice place to live, but due to her constant harassment and unprofessional (and often vulgar) behavior, I am moving out of this complex. She needs to be fired from her position as she is harming the reputation of the owners by being allowed to behave this way. If you are at all interested in renting an apartment at Willow Walk, run, don't walk, away. You will regret your decision once you move in."

"I sold my house last year and was super glad I got into Willow walk Apts. My family has lived here on and off over the last 15 years. Has always been safe , clean and well maintained. This is my second time living at these apartments and honestly I wouldn't choose another complex. I've lived in many complexes over the years and I feel the safest here. Great Location, Good price, nice grounds."

"Seems like a good apartment to rent, but the manager Megan gives little notice when it comes to using money orders for rent. She also does not give notice on renewing leases and doesn’t explain why they will or will not be renewed. She doesn’t answer phone calls and is very unprofessional."

"I’ve lived here for several years and went through a management change. The new manager Megan is fantastic, she jumps on issues right away and is great to work with. I was living in an upstairs apartment and needed to move to a lower level because of my disability, the previous manager kept saying nothing was open and putting me off. When I met Megan for the first time told her my problem, she had me moved to a lower floor within a month. The apartments are clean and quiet with in the complex; you can’t control what goes on outside of a complex, I feel completely safe here. The maintenance guys are friendly and fix anything within reason within 24 hours, it’s been that way with me. You see both management and maintenance out on the grounds daily checking everything, to me that’s a great team keeping an eye on their complex!!"
