"This is a very cheaply designed and decorated hotel. They're trying to be industrial chic, I guess. It did feel a lot like staying in a warehouse, with the lack of sound proofing and a wobbly table that was missing a foot and kept tipping over, dumping our stuff on the floor each time. We got stuck with 2 accessible rooms with a complicated shower apparatus requiring us to get front desk help to operate it -- only to find out that the handheld shower in both of our rooms was not even working/installed properly. Besides that, it wasn't the kind of apparatus that would suit a disabled traveler in that the levers were placed high -- out of reach for anyone who can't stand up fully. We also paid too much for not very good cinnamon rolls with no icing -- and only later learned that they were supposed to come with cream cheese frosting. The front desk was reasonably responsive, but a Marriott customer expects better -- even when staying at one of the cheaper brands."
"We are a family of 4 that was traveling with two 13 year old girls to watch the state basketball tournament championship games. The location is great & there are a lot of food & shopping options close by. Check-in at 3 was good. Room was warmer than we like, it was 74, so I lowered it to 70 so that when we came back the room would be cool & we could sleep well. The outlet by the bathroom sink didn't work. So, no mirror to use while fixing your hair is frustrating. The room only had one trashcan, so no trashcan in the bathroom for feminine products. We got back from the games late at night & our room was still at 74. At that point we had already unpacked & were exhausted from our day. I didn't have the space or energy to address our problems so in all fairness management wasn't given an opportunity to correct anything. If you're looking for a reliable comfortable stay to meet your families basic needs for one night I recommend going somewhere else."
"The customer service was incredible. Felesha was so kind and allowed a late check out while I finished an online interview. The pillows were soooo comfortable I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Water pressure in the shower was great, everything was clean/smelled good, and the breakfast food was very tasty. I wish I remembered the bartenders name but she was also very personable and made a delicious old fashioned. Would definitely recommend for a reasonably priced hotel"
"I have stayed out this hotel 3x traveling for work. Never again!!!! Each time the front staff are extremely rude. They seemed bothered by the fact they have to check you in or if you ask a question. I have spoken to Brittany, the general manager at this hotel. After speaking with her, I now understand why her staff don’t seem to care or properly trained on customer service. I called Marriott corporate office and asked to speak to a manager. No one ever returned my phone call I called again and asked to speak to a manager and was told an area manager would call me back. Still waiting for a response. My husband and I are titanium members for life. This is not what you would expect from a Marriott location. If you look back through reviews several customers have complained about front staff being rude the last two months, but still nothing has changed. Very disappointing."
"It's not the type of hotel you would think, based on the cost. Our room was not well cleaned. The floors needed to be mopped, as well as the rug needing to be cleaned. We found rose pedals and tea lights, in and under my son's bed. Our mattress had noticeable urine stains. The coffee maker in the room had no filter basket, so coffee couldn't be made in the room. We had to go to the main lobby for coffee. There was no hand soap in the room and when we asked for some, we were told they were out. The rugs in the lobby were in desperate need of cleaning. There was no microwave in our room, so we had to go to the lobby to microwave food. There's no continental breakfast, but you can pay to get breakfast in the morning. It is overpriced though. The best part of the hotel for us was the check-in desk. Kind, quick and helpful. I personally would not recommend this hotel."
