"The Great Hall and bar provide a unique atmosphere. Bank vault speak-easy (Library of Distilled Spirits) and live music was a bonus. Great location. Overall, definitely worth returning."
"Enjoyed a fun weekend stay cation. Perfect place to do so. Several restaurant options. We took advantage of tellers and stock and bond. Walking distance to the thunder games and to automobile alley for some fun shopping. Rooms are clean and nice."
"Stunning hotel. The lobby made my jaw drop, so beautiful. The Christmas atmosphere was so welcoming and cozy. Rooms are gorgeous. The room I had was perfectly cleaned, down to the fridge, drawers, and headboard. I could not find a single thing wrong with the room. That is seriously impressive! The breakfast at the Teller was not my favorite. The mushroom omelet I had was borderline inedible and was seriously one of the worst dishes I’ve ever been served at a restaurant. I would take it off the menu! Staff service was good-I was not thanked for being a member, however. Nor was I asked “Is there anything else I can assist you with?” Seems small, but as a Marriott GM, it makes a massive difference in GSS. Best hotel I’ve stayed in OKC by far. Kudos to the ownership and management, y’all are doing a fantastic job!"
"We spent our anniversary weekend at a staycation here. To start, the room was comfortable the building overall is beautiful. After a very rough start (detailed below and the reason for a lower score) we enjoyed our visit on the whole, but the strength of that is more on the restaurants, the building, and the location rather than hotel itself. We were early than our stated check in. We dropped our bags off, explored the building. We were told the room would be ready in 20 to 30 minutes (slightly before the stated check in time) and we would receive a call. We didn't receive a call at that time so we returned and waited. We didn't get to check in until right at 3. This was fine, I hadn't asked for or anticipated an early check in originally, but it contradicted what we had been told. After check in we were told our bags would be brought to the room. We booked a Deluxe room which the Marriott Bonvoy app describes as having a living/sitting area and a sofa. A picture also shows this feature for the Deluxe room. Our room did not have these features. I called the front desk and inquired (about this and the following) and was told that the Deluxe room only includes more square footage than a regular room, but otherwise is the same. I believe he also mentioned there are only two Deluxe rooms, which may have contributed to the wait to check in. The room was comfortable, but a lot of the extra space seemed to go into a spacious entryway that served no purpose but to extend the length of the walk to the coat closet. I did not necessarily need the sofa or living room, but it was very disappointing to not get what I had expected. The second thing was that after 30 minutes we had not received our luggage. I had to call and ask for it. When we received a knock on our door five minutes later, they had only brought two of our three bags. They had to return and get the remainder. Additionally, the TV was not functioning correctly. If I selected a TV channel it would only show a black screen. I tried multiple channels. The menu worked and the YouTube app worked, so it seemed to be an issue with the signal. On the call they said they would put a request in to maintenance. We left the room for dinner and when we returned it was working. Finally, we discovered the conditioner in the shower was completely empty upon taking a shower. We had to ask housekeeping for a refill. In the conversation with the front desk, they addressed my concerns in a very "handling the customer" kind of way. I got no sense of empathy or concern. Once we finally settled in the rest of the stay was fine. So to sum up, the building is beautiful, the restaurants are fantastic, the room is comfortable (although not as described), but the service was very lacking especially with the additional expectations with it being on the higher end of hotels. I would also recommend just booking a "standard" room if you're not getting a suite as the extra cost for a "Deluxe" room only really gets you an overlarge entryway."
"The most stunning hotel in OKC! We had our wedding at the First National and from the second we arrived until the second we left we were treated like absolute royalty. The staff is amazingly kind and patient and made us feel comfortable and welcome the moment we arrived. Our family and friends were all treated so well and were so impressed with the space and the service. The rooms are beautiful and extremely clean, the building is jaw dropping with something for everyone to enjoy, and the staff is so, so sweet. We can't wait to come back and visit for years to come!"
