"If you’re looking for somewhere nice to settle, stay far away from this property and it’s management (previously T&J property mgmt changed to Home Choice property.) We have lived here for over a year now and it’s only continued to become more of disappointment. The management absolutely does not care what goes on at the property. I have called numerous times over the span of our stay here about multiple issues that management seems to either not care about or drag their feet dealing with. The front desk clerk is rude. The lack of customer service is appalling. They never return your phone calls. You can almost never speak to the management, it’s always the same excuse from the desk clerk about “they’ll call you back” or “I’ll let them know.” We have always paid rent on time ($925 starting and we now pay $1075). We never get complaints and we do not tear our property up. We have been polite tenants and never received the same treatment from the staff. Some things you can expect if you rent here from our experience! -Dog feces/urine behind our unit constantly. It piles up quickly and smells horrendous. It rots out back for months because management doesn’t remove it or have the tenants with the dog remove it. (there’s also a dog park on our property and not cleaning up can spread disease to humans and other pets) -Dogs being left behind our unit for hours in an area that is SHARED and not meant for animals to be stored. They bark and scratch our back door. -Vicious animals have been allowed to be on the property in the past and my house mate had been attacked. They did little to remove the tenants or the dog in a timely manner. (They do not screen dogs for past aggressiveness or reports to animal control as this particular dog/owner had numerous complaints.) -They do not make an effort to remove “ unauthorized pets“ from the property in a timely manner or at all. -The units themselves were thrown together and rented out so quickly our kitchen cabinets are hung crooked. -Neighbors with loud music or loud exhausts on their vehicle. (We have a neighbor who runs his Honda for 20-30 minutes unattended with his exhaust that shakes windows) -The carpet is cheap and will flatten out quickly. -The bottom floor of the unit, the floors have white paint drips/splatters from builders who didn’t clean up. -The windows in our unit were not hung/sealed properly. (So prepare for ants/bugs/dust/air leaks) -The front and back doors are not weatherized or sealed properly. -The walls are also paper thin. So you’ll REALLY get to know your neighbors. -If all the units are rented out, there isn’t adequate spaces for PAYING TENANTS to park at their own home. (Especially when your neighbors have 2-5 different people and their cars parked all weekend) -Also, the homeless/unsavory come on the property to dig through our dumpster at night. (So good luck taking your trash out, coming home in the evening, or checking your mail and feeling safe.) -Tenants leave bagged and sometimes even not bagged trash next to the dumpster instead of putting it inside. (Encourages dump diving and attracts pests) -If you rent in a middle unit next to the sprinkler room, you get to listen to the industrial sprinkler system alarm screech for DAYS if the power goes out or flashes. It is SO GREAT. You’ll just love trying to sleep with it! -Crime. This neighborhood has a lot of stolen vehicles/burglary/petty theft. Lock your car doors and remove valuables. Overall the property was nice for like the first 2 weeks we lived here. That’s basically majority of the CONS. The PROS: -the kitchen back splash is pretty cute -laundry in unit"
