Lakeside Village Apartments

"I have been living here since 2021. In Dec. 2022 my apartment flooded and walls haven’t been fixed still. Right now I’m having plumbing issues I come home every day from work and have to clean an disinfectant my kitchen sinks cause they haven’t done anything about my apartment or my neighbors apartment when the sinks fill up with someone else’s filth. Every time I have made a work order since the beginning of this year Barbara has an excuse for maintenance not getting to it right away. My apartment flooded again this year and guess what my walls are still not fixed the bathroom wall has a completely been knocked out since it happened, the carpet has no padding under it cause it’s been like that since they pulled up the padding from the flooding. I have been a very responsible tenant for all this time paying all the rent on time every month. But this month I refuse until the plumbing and the walls and padding and a few other maintenance repairs are done I refuse to continue to keep living this way. It’s not sanitary it’s not safe and I have a whole bedroom I can’t even sleep in a whole bathroom I can’t even us cause of the repairs not being made in a timely manner. I wish I could post the pictures I have on here for you all to see this is ridiculous I have been so patient and nothing has been done about these things for months. I was lucky enough I guess to get my heater that doesn’t heat up well but runs up the OG&E bill very well right before the freeze this year. But I can’t really get anything else done even if I pay the rent on time or not. I’ve called into the office so many times about the plumbing they just continue to say we’ll get the guys over there, then the weekend comes and by now it’s really bad. They come with a snake get the sinks to drain for a few days but then it starts all over again and I can’t continue to live this way and I can’t believe the manager and the maintenance don’t want people to be upset about their living conditions this is frustrating how much patience do you expect for people to have when they may work hard all day and come home to filthy dirty water in the sink and once it goes down you gotta take all your cleaning supplies and clean and disinfect so you don’t get sick from others filth. I could go on and on about this place. It’s bad. And anyone that gone on Google and left a good review did so so a $10 credit and a raffle for a free months rent. Lies I tell you lies!!!"

"Moved my mother into these apartments two yrs back and since last yr she has been having flood & plumbing issues first time withholding rent and they are threatening to evict her!!! She has been very patient with this property and still nothing to be done correctly!! Her clothes have gotten wet bathroom walk has been knocked out again & still not fixed dirty property..! & they are now as of today asking tenants to leave a review for 10.00 off their rent..! How ironic is this my mother has been sick from Lord knows what bacteria from the continuous over flood in her sinks, hallway closets and even her bathrooms smh these apartments always has plumbing issues water off all unnecessary to be paying rent to some people who are inconsistent and inconsiderate but want rent we will be in court ‼️‼️ gladly!! DO NOT MOVE HERE"

"I love this place! There is community here. The management is wonderful. There is a large pond with geese, ducks and the occasional loon. Barbq and picnic tables really make for great and relaxing environment. This place is reasonably priced and pet friendly. Communication is very important between staff and tenants and they really do a great job keeping everyone informed of community wide necessities. The swimming pool is well on it's way to being ready come summer. It's a across the street from the ONQUE (they have free air because the community has taken care of that free service because we all need it) There is a daycare across northwest expressway from it, a bank, a CDR electronics store and even a for house subs all within walking distance. There are so many readings why I love it here! The staff is pretty great so far I'm looking forward to building community here!"

"Barbara has been working really hard to turn this place around. Every time we have a problem she fixes it as soon as she’s able to. She’s gone as far as to place in a new unit because of some issues we had in an old one and I’ll be forever grateful. Not only that, she’s went as far as getting security for the complex so that we can all feel safe again. Barbara and the wonderful hard working maintenance team is what makes this place 5 stars. Hope they get to see this because they really are some of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting"
