"True and honest review: The good: new management. I will say I met the property area manager and was very satisfied with the way she handled my account plus resolved on going issues in my apartment that have been reported over and over. That was great. My apartment is cute and perfect for myself and kids. Kitchens are small but other than that I love the floorplan. Maintenance team is new which is great because previously we were getting nothing done. They new ones are quick and hard working. Office looks good as well and doesn't have any strange smells. It smells fresh and the old broken chairs are replaced with nice office ones. The Bad: new management: The new office staff has not been answering the phones. The new manager did show me on her computer where they had no internet but my thing is how do you not have internet? They take personal calls or just call the women from corporate while you are speaking and trying to explain something. Not to mention tshirts is the new business attire for 2 of the 3 new people in the office. Office looks great but employees need some help! My apartment needs better repairs to the ceiling. You can see where they have repairs but did bad on making the ceiling look good again. Also my front door has missing chipped paint. Maintenance team needs to wear shirts or badges or something! They are nice yeah but if you do not know who they are and they do not speak English then its scary. Office: yes looks and smells way better but the front office young chick rolls her eyes when you walk in. If you ask her anything she will literally shrug and act as if what you was talking about means nothing. New manager takes notes on issues but doesn't seem to follow through on anything. Assistant and I have not spoken but I pray she is better than the last. Overall I do love my townhouse and will be here for awhile. I would have kept April and replaced the rest. I also liked a few of the old maintenance team but they never completed what they started. I am giving a 5 star due to the fact that speaking to one person finally got results and they were right then and there. She told one man to come with me to my apartment right then and I got everything fixed. I hope the new people will be able to handle issues like this. Hoping this will be the last management change"
"If I could rate no stars I would ! Compared to my 5 star review when I first moved in this is the polar opposite! New management is horrible, inconsiderate and unconcerned about their tenants! I haven’t been able to reach anybody by phone ever since they switched. I was told the “phone has been down“. For two weeks? No they are just always out of the office, too busy putting inaccurate notices on people’s doors! I waited hours outside the office to pay my rent, they said they were in a “meeting” but meanwhile I’m watching this lady brush her hair in the mirror in her office lol. I waited the 10 more minutes as she asked which was actually another 30 minutes then they walked out and say they’ll be back at 11:30. You’d think they would have been mindful of the tenant’s time and just wrote me a receipt before leaving. I knew this new management was going to be a problem when I received a late notice about my rent but I overlooked it because they resolved the issue and found the payment. I overlooked the trash and roach infestation because I keep my unit clean and got ‘em gone within my first week. But what I will not do is pick up trash thrown by others(suggested to me by management) when people are dying these days just from touching napkins! I’m only upset because the “notice of violation” for trash that isn’t mine goes on my file and states that my lease could be terminated for it. If you want to make some changes, change the fact that the air ducts downstairs aren’t opened enough for you to feel the air in the summer or the heat in the winter! I was told by maintenance that all units are like that and that even tho I pay $1,100 in rent for central heat in a/c that I would have to deal with it and get a fan or a/c unit and personal heater like he has. I also recently had water coming from under my floors since my new neighbors moved in. I put in a maintenance request and was told that it was from the dripping faucet that goes to the washer. I told him no that’s been like that since I moved in, it seems to come from the people on the other side. He said he had a work order for them and left and never came back even though he said he would. The problem was fixed but I’m sure it’s probably mold under my floor now. I put a request in for them to check, two weeks later the new maintenance man comes knock on the floors and say “no it’s good”. I overlooked these things because management was nice and caring but now I could care less about a property that doesn’t care about me."
"Nice property and floor plans but the water smells like rotten eggs. Check the water before you move in. I refused the unit now I lose my deposit or wait til the next unit in October"
"My daughter has been living in the complex for about 2yrs, and this year it was placed under new management. New property manager has been great! Very compassionate and assertive with handling residents needs. You can see the turn around in property. It feels more comfortable. I'm glad ad so thankful my daughter has a place that feels more like home."
