"Really neat! I've wanted to visit for a long time and finally got a chance. The exhibits were Flight and Black Wings. We also visited the Human Rights art gallery. I really liked how inclusive the Leonardo is, there were a lot of flag pins at the ticket counter (like everything, I saw butch flag pin) and upstairs were some family bathrooms. There is a lot for children to do, so if you're looking for something to entertain the kids this is probably a good pick. If you're going when school is out (weekends or holidays) then I would be prepared for kids and any interactive displays, like flight simulators, to have a wait because of interested children. With everything for kids, a lot of the displays are geared more towards adults or older kids so don't feel like this is a museum aimed at small children. There's something for everyone (or at least there was this time)."
"So much fun, so much to learn. My kids had a blast from Legos to craft activities ,to making airplanes and riding an actual aircraft all activities were knowledgeable. This is next go to fav place for kids whenever they want to learn art and science at one place. Keep visiting their site for daily activities. They have reading activities too."
"Great experience. They were kind enough to let Veterans in for free due to Veterans Day weekend, even if it wasn't advertised. The venue itself was small, which was my only issue. But, they maximized the space and made Leonardo Da Vinci's work about flight relatable to the history of flight today. Recommend coming and bringing the kids to make a a day of it."
"This is a very cool and fun space to come with all the family. They even have an underground library with rare books. It is a beautiful space that inspires curiosity and creativity. You can play in an airplane, build Legos, make crafts, or learn about mental health."
"We were in Salt Lake City for the weekend, and visited "The Leonardo" twice. Although much of their exhibit space is for children, there's enough to interest adults too. The "Art Through Experience" immersion shows, for example, are a must-see!! We enjoyed "From Monet to Kandinsky - A Creative Revolution" and also "Da Vinci & the Italian Renaissance" and highly recommend both! If you're going to visit more than once, then it's worth it to purchase the annual membership, which also gets you free admission to many other attractions around the country."
