"I rented with this company for a year and the communication and customer service was deplorable. It has been extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone throughout the entire time renting with them and after. If we had questions about utilities, our lease, parking, literally anything, they were basically left as questions to the void. During the winter they got the window frames repainted though! but painted them SHUT- talk about a fire hazard. In March there was mold getting out of control in the bathroom. I submitted a request through the app (as instructed) for it to be taken care of, but NEVER got a response. When my lease was coming to an end, I had been told that no one was going to be living in the house anymore and that they weren’t resigning any leases (I wasn’t planning on living there anyway) but we received no official information on how to clean, what was happening with move out day, anything. The only thing I understood was when to be out by because it was stated on the lease. My roommate and I cleaned as best we could and it looked wayyy better than it had when we moved in, however, when it seems that everything in this house has been the same since the 70s, things aren’t going to look as pristine as we’d like. When we got our deposits back, we got deducted for not “cleaning pursuant to cleaning list”. a list we never received. Not to mention it took nearly 3 months for my deposit to be returned. After months of trying to ask where it was and then why I received so little back I FINALLY got ahold of this lady in charge and she would talk over me, said “the kitchen was a disaster”, “everything was a left mess”, we “hit her with a ton of bricks” when we just up and left, and my favorites: “well, we live and we learn to read the lease” and I could try and dispute it but I probably won’t get anything back. Anyway, go ahead and rent from them if you are desperate for housing, but be warned and prepared to waste a lot of your time trying to communicate with them and have your money sucked away by them."
