"I’ve stayed here in the past (a few years ago) and the rooms were great and clean. This time around was a different story. Check-In was pretty smooth, and received excellent instructions on where the room was located, and how to access the WiFi. But that’s all the good things that happened. I didn’t realize this hotel now has apartments and extended stay rooms, and I was smack dab in the middle of them. The outsides were trashed with junk laying around and people smoking right outside the rooms. When I got in my room, it seemed clean at first. But further inspection said otherwise. The carpet had stains everywhere, the bathroom tile was all gross and dirty, the shower ceiling had yellow mold all over, and the shower floor pan was dirty and black (like it has never been scrubbed before). There was also a missing smoke detector (see pictures of exposed wires), the lamps were either stained or busted, there was burn marks on the wooden furniture, and damage to the walls. I went to bed, and the mattress smelled of urine, and I noticed there were some blood spots on the sheet. Luckily the blood spots were in the other side of the bed, so I was able to get some sleep on the clean side. But then spent the rest of the night sleeping in one of the chairs in the room since the urine smell of the mattress as strong. I also left some items in the room as I was in a rush to get out of it, and I noticed my mistake when I was about 2 hours away. I attempted to call the front desk, and the phone must have been turned off, since as soon as I dialed there were three beeps and then it would hang up. I had family try from their landlines, and the same thing. I tried calling every 10 minutes or so, and the same thing kept happening. This went on for an hour and a half until finally it rang and someone answered. Not sure why someone wasn’t at the front desk, or why there wasn’t an automated message explaining what was happening or why there isn’t an option to leave a voice mail. But that was extremely frustrating. I don’t know if I just got a bad room as it was in the extended stay/apartment section of the hotel; which I only booked a single night stay, which was weird to place me in that section. But after this stay, I will spend the extra money to stay at one of the newer and nicer hotels in Cedar City."

"The room was not clean. Hair in sink and counter wasn't cleaned very well and shower stall had soap bar residue and outdated furniture. There was no food left for breakfast and they didn't make any more, Couldn't get a receipt since printer wasn't working. Definitely do not recommend this place!"

"Room has very strange smell, toilet was dirty, and floors very gross. The pool and hot tub were closed for no apparent reason nor was it made clear during my reservation that they were closed. For $100+, it's a joke of a hotel. Plus the TV doesn't work and the remote didn't have batteries."

"The room itself was ok. I could see the carpet was very dirty. Breakfast was pretty good for a motel. Some of the sausage links seemed to be under cooked though so watch out for that. The most disappointing thing was the fact that the pool and hot tub were closed. That was half the reason I booked here. After a long day of hiking I wanted to sit in a hot tub and relax, but there was no notice it was closed. Also if you book online be prepared to be hit with random fees once you check in."

"I needed a place to stay during state basketball. I booked the room 2 weeks ago and the ratings were at the time 4.3. And a decent price too. Today I arrived 30 mins before check in to see if I could check in early. The staff up front seemed super annoyed and it sounded like the male staff said he wasn’t going to do this. I said seriously but then he continued to check me in? I was really confused. After he wrote down my room number and I was walking out the door I over heard him say my hell. I may not know the ins and out of his job, but being friendly seems like it should be a standard with customers and customer service. And on top of that the pool and hot tub is out of service… and when I ask when it would be fixed they said “not this month.” The biggest reason for booking with this hotel was because they had an indoor pool. Rates should be cheaper if all amenities aren’t going to be available."
