"Told me I needed all 4 brakes done because of the calipers on 2 cars. It took me a minute to remember that was the same thing as the previous repair so I fell for it twice. Very dishonest."

"This is the 3rd time I brought my wife’s 2013 BMW 528si X-Drive for a brake pad replacement. From 2021-2024 they will now have been replaced my brake pads 3 times. I grew up with Midas as a household name, and unfortunately they have gone downhill. Each time I come in to replace the brake pads there is always additional problems with my brake system. I don’t mind spending money for necessary fixes but it appears that the ultimate goal of a “lifetime warranty” on the brake pads is to keep you coming back to be up-sold on repairs that may not be needed. Fortunately I have a great mechanic but I decided to continue with Midas because the brake pads are under a “lifetime warranty.” Today was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Todd their counter rep was confrontational. I do NOT tolerate this type of behavior and will no longer use their services. I suggest you find another company to do your brake services unless you want to pay money after they use fear tactics to ensure you don’t feel safe without their suggested repairs. If my personal mechanic confirms the dire need of these suggested repairs-I will remove this review. But as you will see in 2021 and 2022, I haven’t left here without buying additional parts."

"Midas expertly performed all repairs (including new fan belt and tensioner). Some of the existing bolts had rusted badly, and were extremely hard to remove. Even so, Carlos the tech, was creative and persistent. One of the bolts took over 2 hours to remove. Great job!"
