Pool Envy

"I'll give 1 star because at first glance, our pool looks nice. But as others have experienced, communication starts out great, but then as the project nears completion or is "completed", communication goes dark. Weeks and weeks will pass before a return phone call or text. I held back a small amount of funds at the end of our project because we had several problems that had not been addressed. I attempted for over 2 years to get these problems fixed, and although several remedies were attempted, they were NOT fixed. As soon as I mentioned the word "attorneys" in a text, I received an email informing me that my warranty had been voided for "non-payment", which is asinine seeing as though the small amount withheld was due to them never fully completing the pool in the first place. I never once received a notice from them that my warranty was ever in jeopardy. In fact, over the course of the 2 years post-project, I never even received a text or phone call about the funds because Robert SEEMED fully on board with resolving the problems. Also, when I received the email informing me of the voided warranty, that was the FIRST instance I had ever even been provided a copy of the pool warranty, at which time I learned Pool Envy charges $150.00 for all "warranty inspections" - ridiculous. Robert is a nice guy and I like him as a person, but how he handled the communication between myself, him, and his contractors was problematic. I do not believe all of the details that he and I discussed were passed along to his guys. And how the company, including his wife Tammy, handled the conclusion of this 2 year "warranty" debacle, was unbelievably frustrating. THANK GOD I actually did withhold a small deposit at the end otherwise I firmly believe I'd be spending several thousand dollars out of pocket to remedy the problems that they did not fix."

"Started off awesome…ended not awesome. Robert is a great guy. He had a lot of projects going during ours and had some turn over of workers with some issues. Then after project was completed and warranty started it turned into a ghost town. Literally tried to get warranty work done for over a year and half…nothing. Regardless of contractors used and the mistakes they made, Pool Envy is responsible. Sad."
