Reviews
"It helped with my behavioral problems and all the staff, teachers, therapists, and nurses really know you unlike a public school. It really helped me."
"We had the best experience with Positive Changes! This program was a blessing to us. All the staff was amazing and really showed respect and compassion to our whole family. My son has made so much progress that I don't believe could have been accomplished without Positive Changes. Forever grateful to them!"
"My experience with Positive Changes has not been a good one at all. First of all I was not told about family therapy that needed to take place every single week until the first session! Secondly when they had a power outage, I showed up for family therapy and was not told or aware they had no power, so they were closed. The therapist we had contradicted herself with every other statement. One moment I was doing the right thing as a parent, the next I'm not. My daughter was coming home with cuts, bruises, and scratches and they never called or said anything. I would never find out until I saw my child. First therapist made it seen as though my daughter would be in the program for at least the school year. My daughter has been discharge after about two months because the other kids are too violent and "she isn't going to get any better." They also told my mom that they specialize more in behavioral issues more than mental. That's not what their website says. They also will discharge you for not being able to make family therapy. I'm a teacher, it isn't feasible to come to therapy at 11am once a week. I do not recommend at all."
"If your child is neurodivergent/special needs, this place is NOT for them. The staff I encountered do not have the adequate training and were extremely unprofessional. My son and I are both traumatized from the short time that he attended here. I have now spoken with several mental health professionals who are familiar with or have worked at Positive Changes and have they have the same sentiment. I've been trying to contact corporate for 3 months and they won't return any calls/emails, so I guess they really don't care and there seems to be no accountability."
"The staff in this program have went above and beyond for my child. She was picked on in public school by her educators and peers due to her high emotions and feelings. They really do care about these kids and their futures. The therapist we have is so kind and patient with my child and has a genuine passion for helping not only the children understand but the parents as well. Forever grateful for everyone here"
