"I just completed a phone conversation with probably the Community Care rudest lady on the planet....I recently moved from Mounds Ok to Texas. CC sent me (via mail forwarding from OK to Texas address) a renewal med insurance for 2024, I did not request same. All I needed to do was make sure the 2024 CC med insurance did not activate, I also did not want to cancel the remaining term of my 2023 CC enrollment....which the rude lady said she did effective Dec 21, 2023."

"Be very careful before you sign up with Community Care. They used to be the best, but during the past two years they have refused to pay claims for covered dental work for both me and my husband, and also refused to pay for a tetanus shot which my doctor thought was necessary after I had a puncture wound. The process you have to go through to appeal a claim denial is lengthy, very time consuming, and very frustrating."

"I have had insurance all my life. Now I have a marketplace plan through CCOK. I read ALL the information before I signed up. (I have found that since obamacare started it has been difficult to find low cost insurance, that is the opposite of what obamacare promised us.) The Tulsa based customer service with CCOK has been fantastic. They are paying better on prescription drugs than any one else I could find, I am now saving over 70 per month. I stay in network with the hospitals on the plan and had a outpatient surgery at St Johns. My doctor is at Riverside St Johns. They have helped me more than I could ever tell you. I am grateful. These guys have delivered well over what they promised."

"These people love stealing from the local community, that’s what they care about. I have never paid more out of pocket than with community care. My family of 4 pays over $700 a month and we go to the doctor maybe 2-3 times a year. Then when we need a prescription I find out they change you a $100 deductible just to get a $15 prescription?!?!? Outrageous, I have to use GoodRX just to afford a monthly prescription I have been on for 6 months and UMR only changed me $20 for but Community Care was telling me it was going to be $96, but it would go back down after I spend my $4,500 Out of pocket fee haha. These people are crooks, stay away, luckily open enrollment is soon"

"If I could give this so called “Insurance” company negative stars, I would. Never in my life have I been with such a horrible company. Their company is always posting on social media about all the retreats and places they take their employees, which may be why no one is ever available to answer questions and calls. One of my specialists lasted TWO MONTHS trying to get a medication approved for me that I need, and another one of my medications that I had been taking for years was denied over and over again with no alternative option given. Their so-called coverage is the worst. Steer away from CC! I can’t imagine how some people with low-income and lots of medications can live with this insurance. It may cost less monthly than other options, but trust me, you pay WAY MORE out of pocket due to the high copays and everything else."
