Dr. John Stewart

"We met last week over zoom for intake and it was a pleasant experience, zero complaints. I was shocked by how quickly Dr.Stewart was able to get us scheduled for the intake and assessment. Although I'm a talker, he did not seem bothered by all my questions/concerns for my son. He seems very thorough, direct, and attentive with a genuine passion to help others. We have our assessment today and I'm hopeful it will go just as well. So happy we're finally getting the support and help we need, thank you so much Dr.Stewart!!! Update* Assessment went well! He's been doing this for many years so to have an accurate diagnosis was really important to me plus he was so awesome with my son. The building is beautiful and front desk is welcoming, overall it was a great experience."

"If I could give zero stars, I would. We did the intake with Dr John Stewart for the psychological evaluation. The experience was horrible! He gave off the vibe that he was doing us a favor by using his time to see us. His affect was monotone, business-like, and disinterested. He never introduced himself, just proceeded with typing answers and making little to no eye contact. He made zero effort to make us comfortable by establishing even a basic introductory rapport. He didn’t use my child’s preferred name after the initial correction and continually used he/him pronouns while hearing me use they/them. So he either can’t read a room or was being a deliberate jerk. He also kept dismissing my 15 year old’s self reporting and deferring to me for answers. I give him a (-9) on a scale of 1-10. Needless to say, we will not be doing the evaluation with him."

"I had a zoom meeting with Dr. Stewart and it was quick and easy. He had my son and I come the next day for an in person evaluation. It went well. He is very straight forward and to the point. He was friendly and I have no negative complaints. It was a good expereience."

"I have only meet with him via zoom but he was very professional and got my son a in person appt same week. He listened to me talk and asked my son questions as well. I'm hoping the in person appt goes just as well"

"This Doctor totally failed to see that his policies are not good for anyone seeking help with their mental health. Turning my granddaughter away due to the severe storms and my daughter had to reschedule because they had no power. My daughter is having problems with her red blood cells. She rescheduled by phone and mixed up the time. So Dr Stewart said he can't see my granddaughter anymore because he had to reschedule her twice. So I am confused right now about this experience."
