"It was kinda pricey, but SO good. For 2 cokes, a steak salad, dessert, and a pizza it came out to like $66 after tip. But I would 100% pay it again. You HAVE to try their truffle pizza. Literally life changing. And it’s a seat-yourself situation, where you order at the counter then sit and wait for them to bring you your food. (Unless you have a reservation.) I’ve been to Italy and would say the food is the closest I’ve tasted to actual food in Italy."
"This place is absolutely amazing! Great pizza, but the Bucatini is my absolute favorite. Their steak is drool worthy and don’t even get me started on the sides that come with it. Celeste the manager is one in a million! You can tell that she takes pride in her job, loves all the employees, and makes sure that all customers have the best experience. Definitely recommend!"
"Was looking for a spot to eat and randomly selected Salt & Olive, and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is laid back and I love the open kitchen concept. Getting a peak into how your food is made always excites me. We ate the Seafood Tower, Gnocchi Short ribs (weekly special), Bucatini, and the Zeppole E Limone. The seafood tower is loaded with different creatures of the sea, all of which worked well together. My only subjective thought was the blood orange flavor was a bit much. The bucatini was cooked Al dente and the ragu balanced well with the basil and burrata. My favorite dish was the gnocchi… it has a stroganoff feel for the sauce with the melt in your mouth short ribs, which had a nice smokiness to them. The gnocchi are house made (at least it seemed so by inconsistent shapes) and had the perfect texture. The service was amazing from the hosts, servers and chefs. 100 percent recommend and will return to try the pizza!"
"We had a good time here with some friends for a Friday night dinner. The atmosphere was chic and modern, and I love that they have different areas within the same restaurant! There's a more fast/casual kind of vibe for pizza and that area, a quick coffee chat vibe in the front area with a fun backdrop for pictures, and the back area is where the fine dining is, which is more secluded. Three different vibes to me! The food was good, nothing over the top spectacular, but great enough to go again! I had the salmon, my husband had the special, and our friends had the beet salad and something else that was light. We ordered wine and service was great. Worth a visit!"
"It was nice to see something different than I remember in SLC. The decor was modern and comfortable. I always like seeing the kitchen since it feels to me that they have to be clean. I also like watching the chefs work and see how they prepare our meals. We had the bread and bean dip appetizer. The bread was fresh and warm but the bean dip was refrigerator cold. It would have been nicer warm. Sticking to the hot and cold theme, the rogue with sausage pasta was well seasoned and quite tasty but had a glob of cold hard young mozzarella cheese sitting on top and no hard cheese as an option. I tend to like the pasta less al dente. That’s just my preference. The rest of our group had pizzas. They know how to make pizza dough made with creative and unique combinations of toppings. I always feel that you need to offer at least one or two traditional toppings other than cheese. Service was average. Overall, a good dining experience that needed a few polishing touches. The two offered deserts were tasty"
