"Buffalo sandwich and the lavender lemonade were phenomenal! Great portions for such an affordable price and for those who aren't vegetarian or vegan, you can barely tell it's not real chicken. Wait was a little long but it was busy and the weather was nice out. Great, casual place to catch up with friends."

"First timer here and OMG...these sandwiches were A•M•A•Z•I•N•G!! The bread alone is worth mentioning, but the bread with the fixins... it's a party in the mouth. A beautiful balance of savory, tang, crunch, and creaminess. We tried the Pesto and Buffalo sandwiches. I can't wait to try more of their menu!!"

"Ok, so I may behind the times with this spot, however that being said… MY GOD! This place is absolutely incredible! I travel frequently and eat vegan spots all over the place, and this is hands down the best damned sammy I’ve had anywhere! I had to run errands uptown and was thinking it’s the perfect opportunity to hit them up. I’m literally shaking my head on how much time I wasted before today. Vegans unite and protect this jewel of our city! Non-vegans get out and give them a try! I cannot recommend them enough. Pickup/outdoor seating only! Parking can be dicey. "I ate the first half before i could snag a photo. The pesto was absolutely incredible. Vegan or not vegan, everyone can agree on a solid sub to keep the good times comin! Definitely recommend especially to skeptics."

"I'm a meat eater, and I love the stuff. But I'm also someone trying to be more cognizant of the effects it has on the world as well as how a plant based diet is probably better for my health. So lately I've been more and more open to alternatives. I've heard about Buds, great things, numerous times actually in my 6 years living in SLC. After a couple weeks of vacations indulging on "vacation meals", I decided on Monday to finally give it a shot. ...I've now eaten there 3 out of the last 4 days for lunch. It is absolutely delicious. I've gotten the Italian Cold Cut twice, and the Buffalo Chicken once - both excellent, and I can't wait to keep exploring the menu. I bet if I gave a bite to my carnivore friends and didn't tell them what the ingredients were made of, they'd be totally fooled. Staff so far have always been great. Sandwiches have taken 5-10 minutes each time. Great prices too. I'm officially team Buds."
