"Moved from 3rd floor to 4th because roaches. They didn't change we the mattress cover which had a huge urine stain. Blood splattered on side of bed, wall, and curtains. Disappointed to say the least. Owners would not offer our money back so we could leave. We definitely won't be back and hope everyone else has a better experience. Also. Our thermostat wasn't working properly and when the ac came up it woke up us every time. Horrible noise."

"Great hotel. Customer service was great. Lost phone. It was found and manager returned it with no problems. Definitely recommend this hotel. Nice clean rooms"

"Where to even begin. The gentleman at the front desk need to learn what customer service truly is for their hotel. I checked in at 3pm, my room was paid for through Expedia. The guy demanded I show him the card it was paid with online, I flat out said no. He then said I need your card for incidentals, he didn't slide the card he wrote the number down! Who does that unless the system is down. Red flag! Also I asked for two extra pillows later on in the day, he told me I had enough, 4 pillows in the room for two people, I said no with my husband and I we need extra pillows because these are too soft and flatten out . "Oh I will have to look and check", he didn't, they are just lazy cheap people. They should not be running a hotel. Save your money and go somewhere else. The room had holes in the wall, the tub caulk needed redone, the faucet drips. Only good thing was the air conditioning. 0/10 would never stay again. Reviews on Expedia and the other travel apps are an absolute lie. These people should be shut down for all the corners they cut, and the terrible customer service."

"I started staying at Sleep Inns after I stayed at the Joplin, MO location. That one is top notch btw. Unfortunately this one did not meet that standard at all. The hotel decided to host an entire greyhound bus full of people the night I was there. I got up early at 5am to start getting ready for my work day. Not long after I woke up I could hear what must have been herds of elephants roaming around the hotel and doors slamming. Thank goodness I was already up because I would have been pretty upset if I was attempting to sleep to normal people hours. The part that really frustrated me was the hotel blocked off breakfast for this group, pushing back everyone else to 6:30 instead of 6. I picked this hotel over a different one due to the breakfast start time, as I have a tight schedule to follow in the mornings. Then once I got to breakfast, all the tables were messy (every one), much of the food was gone, and evidently for all that group of people, there seemed to only be two hotel workers. If the hotel chooses to host a group that large (which they should for revenue), then make sure the appropriate amount of staff is present and arrangements are not made to inconvenience other guests that are paying normal rates. To top things off, the pool is out of order, there was no conditioner in the room, the rooms and especially bathrooms are outdated/things are broken. The office chair does not allow one to sit at a reasonable height to do work at the desk (the chair sits very low), and so on. Any of these things by itself isn’t a big deal. But when you start adding everything together, it shows a pattern of mediocrity. It’s not bad, but several other hotels offer a better experience for the same price."

"If I could give the hotel zero stars, I would!! I am not one to leave negative reviews but it is necessary in this case. First, there were several high end cars parked under the awning by the entrance that never moved, they were still there when we left the next day. They didn’t fit the setting and I raised an eyebrow over it. When we got into the lobby, the receptionist was talking with three men who clearly knew each other very well. Second, after leaving the lobby and arriving on our floor we were immediately hit with a very strong oder of mold and must. As we made it to our room the condition of the building set in. The walls were marked up, paint peeling, dirty carpet..vending machine rooms filled with old air conditioners from the rooms. Our room wasn’t any better. The sheets, bathtub, toilet and walls were dirty. We were in our room for about 30mins when I decided I couldn’t stay there and called the booking company to get a refund. The manager called my room and stated that all complains and refund requests must be submitted within 5mins of check in. I told him that I was very dissatisfied, felt unsafe and wanted a refund to go else where! He refused. I spoke with the manager who asked me to return to the lobby. They men were now all standing in the lobby talking to the manager. He told me I could finish my stay or I could leave but he would not be giving me a refund. At one point he laughed at me and told me “ you can’t just come here and dirty a room and then want your money back” I had no choice but to stay because I would need the money to get a different room elsewhere. We tried to make the best of it. But, the pool is TINY and the hot tub had caution tape all over it ( weird ). And then next morning at breakfast, the milk was spoiled, the batter for waffles was old and NOT a hot breakfast as stated on the web sight. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!"
