"While we’ve had positive experiences at this hotel in the past, our recent stay was marred by unexpected challenges. Booking three rooms for a two & three-night stay, we encountered various issues—no running water in one room (we were moved to another room), the new room we were moved to had a non-working refrigerator, and broken window shades in the second. Stopped up bath tub (drained very slow during showers which accumulated about 4 inches of water). Unbeknownst to us, several rooms were undergoing renovations, a detail we weren’t informed about prior to booking. Despite the staff’s awareness of these issues, we were assigned the problematic rooms, leading to a less than satisfactory experience this time. We were assigned to rooms on the 4th floor & had to go down to the 1st floor to get ice, it was the only place in the building with a working ice machine. Breakfast was typical, we went elsewhere for breakfast. Very disappointing! I do not recommend this location at this time as long as renovations are ongoing !"
"I'd give ZERO stars if possible! Came in last week from a 13 hour drive to rest before driving another 12 to get home and felt like I was the only one there until I peeked around the glass behind the front desk only to find a girl sitting in front of a computer doing her finger nails and talking on the phone!! Not ONCE did she look up & she seemed too preoccupied to be bothered by me so instead of interrupting her I left and drove another hour or so to an establishment that was happy to help me even if it was 4 in the morning. Please fine better help home 2! I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to this place!"
"This place came across as shoddy. The chair in my room had a crack in the armrest that was taped over, and the refrigerator had a big crack in the shelf that made items set there hang dangerously like it was going to break. I asked guest services if they could fix or replace the m, and they agreed but didn’t. Later one of the lights flickered on and off, and the refrigerator made strange noises in the night that woke me up. The shower was cold the first time I tried it, and so was the pool even though it was supposed to be heated. And I understand not serving breakfast on a holiday, but I don’t remember seeing any notice of that, which was a big disappointment for me that morning. I also tried to follow the hotel’s instructions for getting an ethernet connection and they didn’t work, so I wasn’t able to use my computer like I wanted to. So I personally wouldn’t want to stay at this location again. But all that aside, the room was comfortable enough and nice, and the breakfasts I got were good, and I was able to do laundry."
"I would give service negative stars if it accounted for provoking the customer. I received a call from the lady at the front desk, and she was very combative initially. Said I had to come down to the hotel to add my dad on the list, and there was no other way. When I reluctantly came down, she insisted on further provoking me by initiating unwanted conversations about the whole thing, and I didn't want to talk about it. I just complied and I thought we were done. I said, "Are we done here?" She said yes and canceled the reservation. Her tone was very combative and dismissive the entire time, and i deal with customer service daily. I tried to handle it with very few words, and she was insistent on being combative. If the customer is annoyed about a situation, then provoking is not very professional. I will never go back to this place ever again, and I'll make sure no one that i know goes there either. The place next door was very nice and even upgraded my room."
"There was a miscommunication when I booked our rooms, but Amber took amazing care of us and went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable! The rooms are nice, although no bathtub. And they smell clean and have all the amenities. Even a big fridge! Not full size but close! Coffee mugs, bowls, all nice quality, and a dish washer! I would totally stay again!"
