"We have maintained a policy with them for 20 years, I am the insured listed on the policy, 2 years ago the policy owner passed away, we contacted the company about transferring ownership to the person insured. We sent off the required documents, along with death certificate, and assumed everything was finalized. A year and a half later, I find out ownership was not changed, only because I decided to check the policy, the company never even reviewed the documents I faxed to them, nor tried to contact me. Every time I call and talk to a representative, I get different information on resubmitting the documents, I've talked to 3 different people, and each gives me different information on resubmit the forms. If I ever actually change ownership to me I've decided to just cancel the policy, and cash in the value."
