"Do wanna live in a place that’s filled with a sense of unease, a certain feeling of utter decrepitude? Are you a fan of paper thin walls that are filled with the screaming of neighbors and the constant slamming of doors? Do you like the vibe of a building that just looks like a divorced dads apartment where the halls are oozing with the sound of Nickleback, Radiohead, and Green Day? Or how about a particularly concerningly negligent management company? Well then come on down to 2500 S Dakota Ave!!! We have all the great things, like: • False advertising- you most likely will not be getting any of the apts they show, hope you like laminate and peeling carpet ;) • Out of service heating that will not be fixed no matter how many requests you put in • AC that only reaches the living room (better have a good fan budget) • 1 (one) outlet in the bathroom and kitchen • Porch pirates- better invest in a PO Box if you don’t want any of your packages going missing (and it will absolutely happen to you, they are FAST) • Communal laundry room that wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t for the fact that your neighbors will indeed steal your entire laundry basket of clothes, better be prepared to spend two hours of your day sitting down there just to make sure no one opens the washer or dryer to steal your clothes :) Also pray to whatever god you have that none of the machines break, or you absolutely will have only one washer/dryer for the better part of a year for 3 floors, 8 units per floor averaging about 2-3 people per unit • Lovely hand written notes on the doors to the building from other residents that are always along the lines of “To whomever took my…” that become a weekly occurrence! Like a daily flyer keeping you up to date on all the happenings of the building- so cute! • Do you smoke weed? Well come right on in because so does everyone else so no one can tell where it’s coming from! • Are you nosy, like the drama? Or don’t like drama and just want a peaceful day at home? Well too bad because you will be able to listen to every single argument your immediate neighbors have word for word • A management company that will not heed your filed reports for theft, matinence, or anything Yes folks they truly have it all here, it truly is a place where real estate comes to die and rot, so come on down to 2500 S Dakota Ave!!"

"It's like any hotel room but like 50% bigger. Trying to move in is hard if you are in the 3rd floor and the door locks everytime it closes, so you'll always need your keys. The thermostats are very low quality like it's from 1955."

"I would not recommend King's Kourt. The apartment I rented was not as advertised. It was supposed to be remodeled, however, everything was older, worn, and dirty with the exception of the flooring, refrigerator, and dish washer. I only had the virtual showing to go by and it did not match the apartment I ended up with. It was frustrating that I had to pay the higher price for a remodeled unit when that was not what I received. The building always smelled like cigarettes. The front main entrance was usually open because it didn't latch properly. I also had a package and some mail stolen. The owner refused to install any security cameras, even after being informed of the issues at the property. I don't feel that the building is up to par with cleanliness or security."
