"Olivia was so great to work with and she helped answer all of our questions!"
"I noticed the furnace wasn’t working in my top-floor apartment during this last winter storm. Caden Mennis was at my door within 15 minutes of my maintenance request. He informed me what was happening and then proceeded to fix the problem. I was very impressed with his knowledge of the building facilities and professional demeanor. Thanks Caden!"
"Mediocre property management who will try to maximize move-out costs - even beyond your reasonable liability. They will threaten collections for charges above your security deposit unless you set up a payment plan - conceivably to pressure ex-residents to accept liability without time for scrutiny . If you find yourself in this situation, refer to federal, state, and local laws (time to invoice after move-out, use life, etc.). In my case, that worked, but it took resolve. Research and request a "release from all claims" form when your security deposit is settled. Overall, it was an okay renting experience until the end. Response to Owner: Yup, I am aware of my situation. I communicated it well before it became an issue (over a year prior to move-out). Had we discussed it prior, or it had been communicated in the withholding statement, I wouldn't be leaving a bad review. Just sharing tips to others who find themselves in similar situations."
"Olivia was the most friendly and enjoyable tour guid I’ve had for a while. Olivia did such a great job answering every question to the best of her abilities and putting all other options on the table and considering me and my roommate!!"
"Initially, we did enjoy these apartments. We have been living in the first building for a couple years now. Their pet policies are lenient, which is nice. Each unit also has its own wifi router, which has helped make wifi pretty fast, even on the free wifi plan -- the free plan also being a plus. Though there was an issue with children causing damage at one point, security is generally good, as you need a key fob to access the building. Packages are also secure behind that security. The units are fairly nice, though space is limited. It is nice having in-unit laundry as well with storage right above the washer and dryer. However, we have come to see that the negatives outweigh the positives. When we first moved in, there was plenty of parking. Now, the parking is limited. Management would send texts threatening to tow cars in residential spaces without permits, but that would never happen. Smoking is not permitted on the grounds, but I see people smoking all the time and smell it when I also walk into the building. The alarm at the front door will persistently go off for hours at a time somedays and even from a unit a fair distance away, I can hear it, so I can't imagine being right up the stairs or down the hall from it. Though we haven't had to make many maintenance calls, for the ones we have, it can take a while to contact you, so giving times on the app for when you want them to come doesn't matter much, but it was nice when the maintenance person called to set up a time when it was a few days past. It is understandable that you do not have to pay for wifi (unless you want to upgrade) or water, but the cost is not worth what you are getting. The west side is more expensive in general for housing and these are newer which makes it understandable that you would be paying more. However, when we first moved in, with taxes and fees, we were paying $931.58. Now we pay $1,011.96 with pet rent even being increased. When looking at other places still on the west side, you can find places with more/actual amenities and more space for just a slightly higher price where it makes more sense. Though there are many positives, it is difficult to justify the price when you can find more justifiable options."
