"Booked a one nighter on our way through. Unfortunately we were placed in between folks who are there full time and at 4.30 am, yes 4.30 am they started up their old diesel truck and left it running for 15 minutes before leaving. I rang that evening to give feed back to the owner who was completely unsympathetic and told me if I didn’t like it book somewhere else. He actually hung up on me, very unprofessional. Suffice it to say I’ll be talking to KOA customer service tomorrow."
"Friendly staff, easy access but far enough from the highway that it was quiet. Campsites not crammed on top of each other. Restrooms and showers very clean. Cable TV is included, but you need to ask for a set top box. Gravel roads in the campground have some good sized dips. Recent rains filled them up with water so not sure how deep."
"Huge thanks to Don for answering my midnight call searching for a campsite in the heatwave. We thought our power source would allow us to boondock, but it didn’t. He very kindly told us to come over and we could check in the next morning. You were a lifesaver!! Thank you!"
"Made reservations on-line for a cabin for two days. After making reservations we started driving towards the campground. Four hours later and over two hundred and fifty miles of driving the campground called and said the cabin will not be ready for the first night. They suggested I get a hotel and then check in on day two. I asked if I could check in early since they made the mistake. I was told that cabin cleaning wouldn’t be done until 3 pm so I canceled the whole reservation. This was very unprofessional and because of that I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone!"
"Staff was very nice. We had a quiet night there, fine for stopping for the night, clean facilities, nice pool. Location is on the east side of yankton, away from busier lake area. No paved road or sites. Pull through sites arent quite long enough."
