"We stayed here years ago and remembered it being fine so we booked here again for our latest trip (end of September through start of October 2023). This hotel needs some real renovations. The lounge area is fine, though all the furniture looks super worn and beat up. The room itself was fine, but they need to update the heating/cooling (it was quite hot outside and our room always felt gross even with the AC on) and DAMP for some reason - AC couldn’t get rid of the humidity. You’d put fresh cloths on in the morning and they’d feel damp. Towels never dry etc). There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom from moisture. The bathroom fan barely worked. Carpets are super gross. The second night the key didn’t work and manager could not figure out how to reset our keys and took forever to get us into our room. It’s time to make some serious upgrades here."

"LuAnne and Abby offer exemplary service during the 5-7PM happy hour. Rooms were a bit dated but have comfortable beds. Overall, nice place to stay. Will continue to stay during trips to Yankton. Close proximity to eaterys and the golf course."
