"Stay, stay, stay. I can't say it enough. If you want a personal experience, the best breakfast you'll get anywhere and the best rates right in the heart of the Black Hills, you won't go anywhere else. Well, you might, but I believe everyone will be as happy staying at Holly House as my wife and I were for nine days recently. Dawna is a great cook, down-to-earth as they come, and a gracious hostess. We enjoyed our time so much that I can't say enough good things about this place. :)"

"Really Happy . . . .First to know is Holly House is kinda more like your mom's house. Meaning Dawna has plenty of pictures and stuff on her walls and shelves. Your room will likely have stuff in it too because the rooms are themed. However in the 16 days we traveled, the 5 nights we spent at Holly House, I got the best sleep ever on my trip. Honestly, I never felt uncomfortable at this house. - Dawna will take very good care of you. I am a bit of a germaphobe and I found everything to be very clean, with attention to the bathrooms. Clean and nice smelling towels and sheets and a bed that was very comfortable. Most of all, Dawna is a heck of a good cook. Honestly better than most B&B's I have been to in the past. I never left hungry and she makes everything from scratch. We stayed in the USA room, which is the smallest, however we did not suffer a bit. Large Bathroom. You may wish to check out the 'Bridal Suite' which is on the second floor of the house. Its NICE. Same can be said for the other rooms that we were able to check out. FYI Holly House is pretty centrally located to all the good sites and stuff you want to see, and just far enough to be away from the major crowds of downtown."

"Holly House is a great place if road noise isn't an issue for you. Dawna is a great breakfast maker and the rooms show a lot of imagination for the way they are decorated. The nights were cool so we had our windows open and it was annoying to be that far out in the country and hear the traffic. Fortunately the creek in the back provided a great deal of cover noise till the traffic died down. They provide windows airconditioners on request - had I known that I may have opted for one to drown out traffic noise. The beds were comfortable and overall I enjoyed my time there."
