"I am so touched by the kindness and care my family received this afternoon. One of my children was struggling with the realization that they would be getting shots today. Struggle is a definite understatement. Dr. Valdez let us stay in the room as we all waited for Dad to come in for reinforcements. My child was very upset. The staff all jumped in to help. One of the Nurse Practitioners took my other child so the nurses, my husband and I could focus all of our attention on my son. Dr. Valdez has been our pediatrician for the past six years. She knows our family. Like really knows us! She and everyone at IronHorse Pediatrics treat us with care, respect, and kindness unlike any other we have ever experienced."

"Absolutely love Iron Horse. My son has been a patient for 16 years, my daughter 7. Dr Bagnall is there pcp and I can not say enough about the excellent care she provides. She has always listened and answered questions. She is knowledgeable and empathetic. My sons medical history is complex and she always takes the time to listen to concerns and help ensure the best care for my son. We have seen other providers and everyone is amazing!"

"No one should have to overlook organizational structure to see a good doctor. Our time is valuable and we hit all the walls I read about. Iron Horse front system is absolutely faulty "at this time." Called left messages and never got a call back, twice. Two people that I trust have seen doctors at both locations and I was willing to give it a try. Finally, got through a week later. We were confirmed for a appointment. I asked twice if our appointment was at the briargate location, they said yes! We show up and the appointment is not at that location, it's downtown? Front desk people need help and training. This problem has nothing to do with an influx of people coming into Colorado Springs. Iron Horse - the existence of good customer service starts with acknowledging the customer's concerns."

"I’m surprised by some of these reviews even though I shouldn’t be. I don’t know if people understand the effect that thousands of people moving into Colorado Springs, in such a short amount of time, has had on every doctor’s office/medical group. They’ve all been affected by the mass influx. Honestly, if you’re lucky enough to get in with this group of experienced providers? You should be thankful and give them some grace. Learn some patience and try to remember you and your kiddos are not the only ones being seen. They’re seeing other kids and taking other calls. Here’s a tip: If you are impatient and unable to cope if you have to wait, then schedule your appointments as early as possible. With that said, I’ve been extremely happy with the care my grandson receives at Iron Horse. As a former pediatric nurse, I know quality care and they’ve impressed the heck out of me. The providers here have gone above and beyond for my grandson and continue to do so. They’ve referred him to specialists and have helped to get him in without waiting 6 months. They have referred him for the therapies he’s needed to get caught up. They have gone above and beyond for him. Because of their excellent care he is doing great and considering all the challenges he’s had, I’m extremely grateful for that. Not only for their care of him, but how well they have treated his parents as well. But they are both polite, kind and understanding. Be patient, understanding and try saying thank you once in a while. Manage your expectations and maybe your experiences will improve."

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Bagnall. She is so good with my girls, informative, and caring. She has called me personally with results during the lunch break hour and in the evenings. We are so thankful for her! We have seen other providers for same day sick visits and they’ve all been great as well. The nursing and rooming staff are always so good with the girls. We’ve never had a problem getting in same day, which is so helpful!"
