"I came in to purchase a $30 gift card. As I put my credit card in to pay, the cashier said to hit the star to complete the transaction, when you do that it automatically charged $6 tip. I asked to cancel it bc I don’t tip on purchasing gift cards and the manager said they can’t cancel it once the transaction is completed. I used to work in retail and at a coffee shop, you can absolutely cancel the transaction! When I left I called the 1-800 and had them cancel the order. This is really dishonest and bad business. I will not purchase from this Starbucks again. The two older ladies weren’t that friendly anyways and I believe they knew this would happen since I’m now reading other reviews with similar experiences. Beware of this location and their dishonest employees! Tips on everything is getting out of hand and imo I don’t believe a $6 tip to purchase a $30 gift card is necessary."
"The place overall during my visit wasn’t clean, I have ordered a venti size PSL with 3 more pumps of pumpkin sauce and extra topping,(this wouldn’t be charged as extra since it is already included in the drink) but instead received the complete opposite. The cashier asked me 3x because she wasn’t sure of what I said and I repeated it 3x and also made sure at the end that, that was what I ordered, she wasn’t sure but then said yea . The total came up close to 8$(which is like 1.70$ higher than it’s supposed to be ) and the wait was more than 10 minutes, at the end they had messed up my order and had Gaven me the smallest size of the psl that I have ordered in a venti which would be the biggest from frapes. After I said it’s the wrong size and the wrong order for the amounts they took it and threw it away and took another 10 minutes to make me another which still wasn’t what I have ordered."
"Buyer Beware! It was my experience that their machines are set up to automatically charge you a tip, at least when you are reloading your card. I asked for a reload and didn't realize until my receipt was printed that I was charged a 20% tip, so $4.00 extra to load money on my card. For the record, this is no longer a tip but a fee. It's outrageous to charge me $4.00 to load my Starbucks card so I can order a drink. I won't use this location again and if this is a Starbucks approved practice, then I think it's time for me to find a new coffee shop. Tips are supposed to be voluntary and I struggle with the notion, but thought to be a wage equalizer. When you add them to my account you both take my right to decide how to handle the tip away from me and decide for me what my responsibility is for equalizing your employees wages. Since you have no idea what I do for a living, you don't know if we make the same salary, you make more than I do, or if I make more than you do and have a social responsibility for helping to equal your wages to mine. Instead you have made it your responsibility to steal from your customers by setting your machine to authorize tips on our behalf, with font to small to read, and buttons that are not easy to figure out how to understand how to correct the tip you have chosen to build-in on our behalf. To make matters worse, your employees have also chosen not to say anything about the tip you are building into said purchase! Well, you have also failed to realize that this is a reason to ensure that someone won't return. That poor traffic in your store, means reduced hours for you and in the long run affects your entire paycheck... stealing tips from your customers is a great way to ensure that you don't have customers!"
"It’s always great when I see representation for all people regardless of ability. I noticed the sign saying they have menus available in Braille and Large Print and wanted to praise this store for that. I was driving thru the area and this sign stood out to me as what makes this Starbucks location special!"
"This Starbucks had a wonderful and simple lobby layout. Barista greeted with a smile. The larger table was dirty with food crumbs. The seats were not neatly arranged along with the chairs in lobby. I had to move and straighten the table myself. There were only four customers and it took awhile to get my drink made. Overall it was a nice atmosphere."
