"When we first moved into Village at Lionstone, it was a rough move. The apartment was not fully cleaned (i.e. the previous residents’ hair was still in the sink, glass shards stuck in the garbage disposal, an extremely musty smell that lingered for months, I could go on) and they only partially vacuumed the floors. The door frame had been kicked in and to fix it they glued the broken pieces back on. It was a disaster to say the least. We had to deep clean everything ourselves and were never offered any type of assistance, concession or, at the very least, a sincere apology. Upon MOVE-OUT, we deep cleaned everything as we did not want future residents having the same experience. After receiving my move-out statement, I found I was charged the final utilities and a cleaning fee. I had paid our utilities with our final rent payment but understood I would be charged a final utility bill. However, it was for the exact same amount as what I paid for the final rent payment. I reached out to Management and asked for the following: final utility bills (the last 2 months), my Inspection Sheet from when I first moved in, my Account Ledger to see what I exactly paid for when I moved out, pictures from when they walked my apartment and the Cleaning Addendum from my lease. My main concern was the cleaning fee as it was filthy when I moved in and definitely not when I moved out. It took them several days to get back to me and all they sent were the exact same things: my final account statement and one utility bill. Once again, I asked for the additional documents and have not heard back. It is beyond frustrating communicating with their Management and has left nothing but a bitter taste in my mouth."

"Horrible apartments don’t even think about living there. Nasty moldy apartments and every single apartment building has issues With mold causing kids and adults to be hospitalized and they don’t seem to care to do anything about it . This is only some of the mold in just one part of the place it got so bad that the entire living room floor was lifting because of all the water that was coming in from the outside"

"Absolutely Unprofessional I applied for a apartment which I was approved for then after receiving approval I never heard from leasing office for over a week I went to the lease office in person 3 times in one week and every time the office does were locked during open business hours. I left multiple voicemails and emails with no response then I received a call saying they had to deny it because I couldn’t be reached….. This place is definitely a headache and I didn’t even get the chance to move in glad I didn’t the reviews are to be taken seriously about this place."

"Don’t rent from this place!! RUNN! We’ve had so much problems since living here. The parking lot is literally used as a party place. They drink out in the parking lot and play loud music at all times of night. They also think it’s fun to smash glass everywhere and pee outside like animals. One night after hours of partying in the parking lot, a fight broke out leading to a car running over a person (yes cops and ambulance showed up) and breaking the fence and then someone smashing the windows out of another car then proceeded to chase each other through the parking lot and throw glass beer bottles everywhere. I emailed management about this issue and they literally just never responded. Just in the year and a half we have lived here, our rent has been raised by $300 a month. FOR WHAT? This trash apartment with no upgrades, the pool is always closed, the gym is only open during office hours, laundry rooms are disgusting. This place is so funny. When we moved in, we were given a specific floor plan and once we got here turns out we had a massive fireplace in our living room that cut it in half and we also weren’t even allowed to use it the entire time we lived here LOL. The amount of dog poop around the grounds is disgusting! I understand it sucks that people don’t clean up after their dogs but also do something about it! Try and hold people accountable and clean it up eventually maybe?? Our seal on our entire front door was broken. They decided to paint the buildings and pressure was first. When they pressure washed, water was FLOODING into my apartment. I couldn’t even open the door because they were washing it so I called the office and they told me that was normal because it was a pressure washer (LOL) and they would send someone to come look at it. Long story short their solution to fix it was just putting a weather protector nailed at the bottom of the door (again LOL) when the entire seal around the whole door was bad. Last but not least, we are moving out of this awful place in a few days and we decided to go up to the office and talk to them about where a good place to park our moving truck would be because we are moving over 1,000 miles away and may have to leave it parked overnight (max 12 hours) . The lady in the office was extremely rude and cut us off from speaking many times and told us that we aren’t allowed to park the truck here unless we can get it to fit in one space like a normal car (this is a 16 ft truck we are talking about) she absolutely refused to budge and her explanation was if she let us park somewhere that she would have to let everyone do it?? Okay AND?? For one night to accommodate us on moving out is such a big deal. Then told us we should find another place to park it or get a smaller truck. Lol I had to walk out because I was so mad. So yeah another reason why I’m leaving this place. So all in all, it’s overpriced, loud and unsafe and management doesn’t care about you. Don’t ever rent from here!"

"Would not recommend, maintenance never fixed issues, trash was everywhere, and the crime in the area is an understatement. My motorcycle was stolen right down from the front office and it was caught on camera. The front office never called the police and saw it on camera being stolen in broad daylight. Not to mention they stuck me with a light bill long after I had come up on orders and PCSed to another duty station. Stayed there from 2012-2015…"
