"It’s really lovely here but I’ve been told is income restricted did a tour, a leasing agent told me it wasn’t but with the information I had given her with just being a single mom of one looking for a two bedroom 1873$ was a bit over my budget just for the two of us."
"I moved in 2 years ago to a partially clean apartment. When it was my time to give my notice I cleaned that place for 8 hours top to bottom. Taking the fridge, washer & dryer out to clean other people’s mess from gosh knows how long ago. Still cleaning BLACK hair out of my sinks which I do not have. Standing on furniture to clean fans. And the cleaning charge was $130.00. I had NEVER hung anything on the wall and I even filled holes from previous renters and still got a $150.00 for “touch up paint”. I never damaged the walls or nothing. I understand carpet cleaning as that should be done for everyone. But did you even look at the apartment? It was in far better condition that when I received it. It is totally unfair I have to pay $130.00 for cleaning after 8 hours of cleaning myself while others do not clean AT ALL. To charge $150.00 for paint you already have in the shop that is probably $20 a can. Or when you charge me $22 for catch pans on my stove but yet when I moved in they were absolutely disgusting and had to clean them for you ! This is unacceptable business. Not to include work orders that we’re totally SIMPLE took 4 months to complete. I am disappointed in how you totally take advantage of people. I should have received my full security deposit back as you received a impeccable apartment. I take pride in how I live and you totally disrespected that."
"If I could give them 0 stars I would. Lived here for over a year and it was always something with the management office being incompetent or maintenance issues. Put in my two weeks notice to vacate and was slammed for charges such as carpet cleaning and paint which I have photos to show the apartment was left in great condition. These are charges that are normal wear and tear yet they pass it on to you as the tenant. If you call the office they either won't answer the phone or they'll pick up the phone and hang up to avoid speaking to anyone. They'll hoard your packages and not call you and advise you they have a package for you. The list goes on and on....PLEASE DO NOT rent here!!!! You get what you pay for. Yes rent is cheap, but they will treat you like scum and slam you with unfair charges."
"I've lived here twice. The first time was in 2016 when Brandy was the manager and everything was fine at first but then Brandy told us she would evict us because my husband was military and had a lab mix as a service pet. Shortly after that a water pipe busted in our apartment which they tried to charge us for even though it was no fault of ours. Water pipes burst in every other apartment in this complex because they're poorly built so we ended up having to get a lawyer with the army to prove that it was their fault the pipe busted and we were at no fault. Once we moved back in 2018 everything was much worse. They didn't keep up the grounds and tried to evict us because they failed to send up our lease renewal when we provided them with the information. They waited 3 months to ask for more paper work and at that point we've already decided to move to another complex and gave them a multiple notices that we were moving. When questioned about why they didnt send the information to redo the lease when they originally recieved it, they refused to give any answers and said they either needed another 30 day notice or to provide more documentation by 4pm that day or they would start the eviction process (it was 1 pm when i got the call). Long story short I just provided them with a 30 day notice and ended my lease early. They don't clean the grounds and let dog poop be everywhere and they are aware of how bad it's been and everyone walk around smoking weed all day. Kids climb up on the garages to smoke weed and they all smoke at the pool. They absolutely need to reported to Jag and be black listed because this complex is corrupt and gets over on people in the military and their families. Below I left a picture of how they left the pet station for over a month. Rest of the complex looks even worse."
"Actually should be 0 stars. Highly recommend people do not rent from Copper Creek. The management is AWFUL and their workers are incompetent (save a few). They will do everything in their power to take money from you. We are now taking them to small claims court which is something I would rather not do three weeks out from giving birth but it’s necessary. For example: in 2017 I gave birth to my daughter unexpectedly early while I was on the East Coast. It was over the weekend and my husband had to be pulled out of the field to fly to us. That Monday he immediately contacted the office and told them that he was going to be gone when our rent was due the next week. He offered to pay via credit and they said no and said we would be charged a $100 late fee if he didn’t come back (aka leave his daughter and wife in Delaware) to pay it in person, there is no drop box so their was no way he could have paid before he left. Thankfully after days of arguing someone from cooperate (not the apartment complex) waved our fee. NOW they are trying to make us pay for a new dishwasher because our old one is “not worth their time to fix”. Immediately after moving in we had trouble with our dishwasher and they replaced it. Within the first week it stopped working and we contacted them. For the next 8 months or so the maintenance worker tried to fix it, said he “thought it was fine” but it would be broke again within a day. He said he would recommend them give us a new one and he didn’t know what to other then push the reset button. A month ago the entire maintenance staff was fired and a new worker checked on our dishwasher and said it was cheap and not worth his time to fix it and would recommend we get a new one. Apparently every time the old maintenance worker would reset the dishwasher it would just clog the pipes even more. What’s worse is that I ALWAYS prewashed the dishes and washed them again after so it wasn’t like any significant amount of food was going into the dishwasher at all. So basically with two (soon to be three) kids I have had to hand wash our dishes since moving in and now I’m expected to pay for a new one when in reality they should give us part of our rent back every month for now giving us our promised appliances, My husband is definitely recommending to post that this complex should be put on the do not lease list so no other soldier gets screwed over. (This is only in regards to finances, I could go on and on about how they allow the fitness center to be occupied by homeless people because the door can be yanked open, the terrible parking situations, our broken door that they never fixed properly etc. this is our third apartment we have lived in and by far the worst managed)"
