"Living here you get a sense of care from the management and staff. Care towards keeping your community safe, unique, and accommodating. The staff is always friendly, there are frequent resident events to engage in and the amenities are up kept."

"I've been living here for a little over 6 months now and it's been a wonderful experience! All of my maintenance requests have been taken care of quickly and efficiently. I even forgot to mention that the microwave plate needed to be replaced until the guys already showed up and they still replaced the plate that day! The leasing office staff are always quick to answer my emails and they have all been extremely helpful, especially Riley and Jasmine. I decided to transfer to a different unit back in December and the entire process was very fast and smooth. Jasmine helped out tremendously with that! I highly recommend this apartment complex especially if you have pets and kids as they have so many activities and events for both! The rent is affordable given the location and quality of the units and amenities. I am actually paying less here compared to the last place I was at and it was not nearly as nice!"

"This is by far one of the best places to rent in Colorado Springs. Since the housing market is terrible for most people my age and renting seems like the only option for the next two years, I don’t think that I’d rather rent with anyone else. Most other places will charge $1800-1900 for a 867 1 bedroom, if you come to the lodge at the right time you could absolutely score a great floor plan with awesome square footage for an amazing price for what the market is right now. The neighborhood is safe, I feel comfortable walking around alone with my 2 year old, the amenities are great and have never had issues with them. In the 5 years I’ve lived in COS this is the only apartment complex I’ve experienced that is not shady, and will not rip you off and steal your security deposit. My fiancé got a unit here when we first got together, I would visit often and just loved it. He had moved out recently because his lease ended and we had the intention of buying a home to put our family in, that didn’t work out since the housing market is not realistic for what we can afford monthly at this point in time. We sat down together and said “why don’t we just go back to the lodge at black forest?!” Upon making that agreement, I called the leasing office, we spoke to and worked with Madison who has been super awesome and helpful. She helped us apply for a unit and was eager to welcome us back. Everyone has their complaints as people are nit picky. I however do not have any complaints. The pros of this complex 1000% outweigh the cons, the cons are so minuscule they’re not even worth mentioning."

"The Lodge has been home for the past two years. It is a place that makes me feel safe and cared about. The property has a pool, hot tub, gym, dog park, activities for adults and children and lastly staff who are pleasant and accommodating. Take a tour and you’ll see why the residents enjoy living here!!"
