Reviews
"The location of this property is great. You're right in the center of Colorado Springs and can easily get around by foot or scooter. The property is professionally managed by a very diligent management company."
"I really enjoyed living at Copper Stone Apartments. The whole staff was friendly and very accommodating throughout our stay. It was a perfect place to begin a start in Colorado Springs. I couldn't recommend the people at Copper Stone or the apartment enough. Sean and Britnie and Tim were particularly awesome!"
"My fiancé and I moved to Copperstone in September. We moved from out of state so we had to take a leap of faith and signed our lease based on just reviews and photos before our big move. We had discovered before moving that there were two parts to the property; one with a Pikes Peak Ave address and another on N Circle Dr. we weren’t worried though because the photos looked pretty nice. When we arrived, we realized the photos were only of the nicer side of the property, the Pikes Peak address. The outside looks very dumpy. Old RVs that have people living in them parked on property as well as homeless people that live in the parking area behind our building. We’re behind a strip mall that has flood lights that blare into our bedroom through the night. So bright that it looks to be daylight outside at 2am. You can’t walk more than five feet without finding a pile of dog poop on the sidewalk. After a 14 hr drive and no where else to go, we had no choice but to move in. Just a month of so after settling in, water started flooding into our apartment from the lighting fixtures in the kitchen, dining space, and full bathroom. Two inches of water flooded into our bathroom with another inch in the kitchen. It took maintenance over an hour to arrive and when they did, they said they didn’t know what to do and needed to call for help. The water smelled incredibly foul, like a group of urinals at a festival would. FOUL. It was very dark yellow in color as well. Our renter’s insurance put us in a hotel saying that it was unsanitary for us to stay. We stayed in that hotel for five days where Copperstone had almost no communication with us about how repairs were going before they said it was fine to return and that it was clean. Copperstone had hired carpet cleaners to come and clean the carpet twice. And nothing else. The counters were filthy from the flood water, the lighting fixtures were still full of nasty flood water, the hard floors hadn’t been cleaned at all. The towel rack was broken as well. Copperstone assured us that it was not waste water and therefore they didn’t need to do any testing or pull the carpet out. They also said that there shouldn’t be any moisture issues post flood. We immediately realized that both our guest room door and bathroom door were both swollen from the water and unable to close. We put in a maintenance request for the towel rack, the swollen doors, as well as our broken blinds for one sliding door. THREE WEEKS PASSED. We were told that if we needed anything else post flood that Copperstone would handle it swiftly. Three weeks and several voicemails and the only thing that is fixed is the towel rod. We have a guest coming for a week and they cannot close the door to have privacy in the bathroom even though we requested it serviced almost a month ago. The size and location are good for the price but it’s clear they cut all the costs by slashing caring for their residents in a timely and communicative fashion. I have lived in some less than great places but none have been so bad as Copperstone. Hopefully they read this review and finally come to take care of our very much overdo maintenance requests. We have no intention of renewing our lease and will absolutely avoid Weidner Homes at all cost in the future. (Photos are from moments after the flooding started, flooding was happening for 1.5/2 hours before the water stopped coming through.)"
"Moved from out of state and Sean, the community director, made it a smooth and easy process. Any issue that would arise, Sean was prompt and helped us to the best of his abilities. The location was not ideal for us so we had to move due to work but I thank Sean for making our first apartment experience as flawless as possible!"
"I lived there for a year on the third floor alone and loved it. In the middle of everything. Everything you really need is in walking distance. My favorite part was the balcony and the courtyard. I could sit out there anytime of year. Sean was amazing too. Ready to help or solve any issue. Sad to go but It was great how it lasted."
