"Do not move here if you do any type of consumer purchasing and UPS is the shipper. You will never get your packages. The crime rate is so bad here, the Monroe apartment complex will not allow for packages to be delivered to your door directly no matter what information you provide UPS. They will only deliver them to the main office even if you pay $19.99 a month for the shipping. I have been waiting at an access point 1 mile away from the apartment for 20 minutes now because though I have provided instructions to get through the security gate and deliver to my building that is the address on the package that is not office building number, UPS has an agreement with this complex to only deliver to the main office building. I have been waiting 2 days. Office has been closed since Wednesday, 11/24 and with lunch and smoke breaks you are lucky to find anyone working in the office more than 25 hours a week. I got there one morning last week as you have to go through the office to get packages at 9:45am, office just opened at 9:30am and already the only person working in the office is on a smoke break. I got to the door and it was locked already frustrated that i am home all day and yet i have to come to this place and get the products i ordered from an address other than mine and it’s ridiculous. Just stared at the office manager from the staircase from the inside of the building as they chatted with another coworker for a couple minutes and then they finally noticed me. All of the Packages are laying all over the office floor. Don’t think it’s a great idea to place all packages in one location, if we get a mastermind here, they’ll just go for the office first. I am writing this because your solution to whatever problem you are trying to resolve isn’t working and people who are paying for premium services that involve collaboration with the office are getting screwed out of a deal. Your workers are not onsite enough for this solution and I challenge you and your team to come up with a better way. The parking is atrocious and think some better guidelines and a more disciplined staff can make a world of difference. I’ll never live in this place again, and will not recommend. Pay the extra $300 or more somewhere else. You’ll be glad you did, at least a complex with weekend hours and can commit to onsite inquiries for at least 8 hours a day. I would not bring your families here, if they are this concerned, there is probably more going on than even us residents know about. -Terrell P."

"I’ve been at the Monroe for 2 years now, and it’s been a good place for me. I got into a renovated apartment, which was super nice and affordable. Laundry on site is available, which was a must. I’ve seen previous reviews on bugs, and I can assure you that issue has been dealt with. They are always working to keep the place clean and update as they can. There have been food trucks at times, and I have received THE SWEETEST little trinkets on my door at Christmas, and other random holidays. The neighborhood just is what it is. You can’t always control your neighbors, but our community is gated. It’s super nice. Thank you to the management at Monroe, you guys work hard and everything is SO appreciated!"
