"Price was good and the neighborhood is great! They went through about 3 management changes in a year but most of the staff was very friendly. We didn’t have too many issues but the ones we did have were never addressed even after we brought it up with them multiple times. We moved in last march and just moved out. Move in date was rough, they didn’t clean the apartment after the previous tenants so I spent two days deep cleaning and they left a bunch of stuff in the main bathtub after they said they were going to resurface the tub and never did. When we moved in we were given all of our keys and a paper with mail box info, we never had access to our mailbox so for the almost entire year we lived here we had to have it sent elsewhere. They gave us a new key after almost a month of waiting and told us the issue was fixed but we still couldn’t access the box. Mail room was shady af anyway so I’m glad we couldn’t. There was a mailbox with no door and the mail was just constantly exposed and lots of the mail boxes looked broken in to. Ice maker never worked on our brand new fridge, neither did the brand new fire place. We submitted plenty of maintenance request but noticed that a lot of the times they would just mark them as completed and never got anything done. Complained about the upstairs neighbor because she would be up at all hours of the night stomping and walking super loud and nothing was ever done about it, so beware that the office staff while friendly doesn’t do their job very well."
"Janisha was amazing throughout the whole process from before applying to move in, even currently as a resident at the apartment she’s still amazing. I was out of state and had a lot of questions before applying and she was very patient with me. She was very informative since I wasn’t able to tour the apartment in person and she helped make this process super easy. At move in everything was great, the unit was spotless and smelled clean. It was a lot cleaner than the other apartment I lived in. I needed maintenance for a quick fix and they were quick and efficient as well. There was a young gentlemen that followed up was great and made sure that everything was fixed so I really appreciated that. I feel safe and everything is near by. This is a great place to live at and glad I chose Viridian to move in to."
"The complex went through 3 different property managers in the span of a year. The renovations were not done by a good company (laminate floor coming up, appliances dented, holes in the cabinet from them installing the microwave). Not to mention the bathroom is poorly ventilated. Mold growing, even after cleaning with vinegar and trying to keep the fan on while showering, and our neighbors having a hole in the closet wall from when their pipe burst (a year in and it’s still not fixed). The maintenance people vaping in our apartment (we had a camera in our living room). Tub faucet constantly dripping, told them about the mold and black mold in the bathroom tub. Never fixed it. The leasing agent, after the best one left, playing games on her phone in front of us while giving our 60 day notice. They redid the stairs for the apartments above us and left the crumble mess below. Never having poop bags available, so nobody cleaned up after themselves. Overall, not the best experience. Yes, some of these are minor, but when it builds over a year, it was best we left. I hope they can improve for future residents."
"Don’t expect any of your deposit back. I made sure my apartment was spotless and they just made up charges to get no credit. Just a scam. My place said it was renovated. When I first came in the toilet wouldn’t stop running. Maintenance didn’t come until a month later and brought the wrong parts to fix it. Had to wait another month. The cabinets were just refaced and the insides were disgusting. The floors were all scratched from who ever moved the appliances into place. My upstairs neighbor sounded like a eleaphant. I liked the location. But wouldn’t recommend."
"DO NOT LIVE HERE! I cannot express enough how awful this place is. Where to start? When I moved in the shower was missing the shower head. The stove was missing knobs. The fridge would go warm and cold and warm, causing items to freeze and thaw which ruined numerous items. The ice tray in the freezer didn't work. There was a leak with the kitchen sink. The washing machine had the cold and hot hoses mixed up which ruined a few shirts because it would rinse the clothes in extremely hot water. When they corrected it they found a crack in one of the hoses. I couldn't have hot water last more than 10 minutes in the shower despite them "fixing" it 3 times. Experience an ant infestation. My apartment flooded twice. It took over a year before they "fixed" my window in my bedroom that didn't lock. Took quite a while despite the fact I was located on the 1st floor. They fixed it by wedging a stick in place initially. The property does not care about anyone. Good luck getting them to email or call you back. When I inquired about lease renewals, since it was 1 week before the 60 day notice to vacate was due they couldn't give a true answer as to when they would be received but said to expect them within 1 - 2 days. I got an alert 2 week before I was leaving with the renewal options. Railings would rust off the stairs leaving jagged areas. I would have to call the office monthly about replacing dog poop bags. The dog poop bags would sit empty for weeks with dog poop piling in the grass as they did nothing. A lot of times they would also not provide 24 hour notice when they would be coming to your apartment. They would put fliers on the door when they planned to enter, yet somehow they would show up 3 days later with no warning. The sad part of this, it isn't even everything negative I experienced. Please do not live here. If you live here after reading this, please know you were warned."
