"I will not go into detail about everything that is wrong with Copper Chase or management because we would be here for days but I will say as a resident for 3 years what they are responding to these ratings with are lies and I think it’s extremely shady to lie about somewhere a family could potentially safely live. We do not have any security here AT ALL. That is one lie I will point out because I feel like that’s extremely slimy to claim and give a family hope to live somewhere safe with security when that is in no way shape or form true. You are your own security here so carry something on you. I will add there is ONE camera in the parking lot but it was purchased and installed (on the corner of her apartment building) by the resident who has had her can broken into more than she wants to deal with so resorted to a camera that the apartments would/will not provide or install. Like I said, you are your own security. **In response to the front office has this security number or company name ever been provided to the tenants? I’ve spoken to 4 separate renters and no one has ever been provided with a number or the name you provided. Also I don’t need anything in my kitchen worked on I need all my lights in my apartment to stop aggressively flickering before it catches on fire. After three work orders and two emails and two phone calls over the course of three weeks y’all have done nothing but flipped the breaker box switches yes I’m frustrated of course but also not buying your claims on security. The people who look into living here should know the truth. I also never said anything about someone’s window so I have no one in regards to talk so please keep the documentation you wanna threaten me with. 3/5/2024 The past few days I have been working with the new maintenance manager, Joseph Hernandez and he is a great new addition to the team in the office. Extremely knowledgeable and was quick with working on the issue the work order was placed for. Thank you again, Joseph!"

"Since Cardinal has been here whomever management has assigned to this property.......it's like they got the most Hispanic loving, everybody else hating woman to operate this property...........IM A VETERAN, N IF A SPADE IS A SPADE I CALL IT A SPADE!!!!!!! IF YOU DON'T WANNA "FEEL-LIKE" YOU'RE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST SO DONT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU'RE HISPANIC!!!!!!!!!!"

"The new management is the same as any big corporations. All they care about is getting you to sign and making sure they can charge for everything. I've had the wrong size ac for 3 years now, my window was broken months ago and my light they in the kitchen they took down and replaced with a new light, flashes the day after they install it and no one will fix anything. I was However going to be late on my rent. I sent a message, with no response. I took down a partial payment and it was accepted. Then the following week I get told to come get my check, they aren't taking partial payments and I owe late fees now. I've been here for 5 years and if something happens, they usually dealt with this accordingly. This new lady is a bad person and when you talk to her, you'll get that feeling too. I don't recommend this place until they find a decent manager. Pictures uploaded of my ac, window and light. Also my vehicle and almost every other vehicle has been broken into and they refuse to put up cameras. I recommend driving down Nevada before deciding to move here"

"Copper Chase apartments is a fine place to live, and we did so for three years, and living here comes with many of the following perks: -Free cockroach infestations -Free bedbug infestations -Free in-unit ant swarms -Vandalism -Unprofessional management -Unprofessional contractors -Potentially unsavory neighbors -Water main breaks three times a year -A pool guaranteed to make it's swimmers sick -Limited working laundry facilities -And an unlimited supply of nocturnal vagabonds Most of our neighbors at Copper Chase had untreated cockroach infestations. We also made many friends with other tenants who had untreated bedbug infestations. Why were they untreated? Because Copper Chase offers you many such amenities at no extra cost to you! Our unit also came with its own ant colony which swarmed all throughout the unit for well over a month. At a price of $1700 a month, who wouldn't want a living area with such a lively atmosphere? When neighbor children or weed eaters broke our windows, Copper Chase lifted no fingers to solve the issue, despite many requests on our part. They even allowed us to pay the bill to fix them once we moved out! What a bold business strategy! When upstairs neighbors moved out, Copper Chase hired only the best contractors to go in and remove any and all left over tenant belongings and repair many of the damages those tenants had left behind. The falling debris left several metallic sharp objects in the grass and damaged much of the side of the building. A perfect place for squirrels to hide their food! These environmentally minded contractors then used natural cooling methods while they worked and during the night, those same methods caused a downpour in our unit. I never would have guessed that I needed my apartment to become a rainforest during the May Colorado blizzards! Thanks for showing me the error of my thinking Copper Chase! Copper Chase has been owned by many different property management companies over the last few years, and a recent change to fill vacancies was a decisive move away from those pesky and limiting background checks they were doing when we moved in. Almost overnight we had plenty of new neighbors, car break-ins, and a large number of one off vehicles taking up all of the parking. The grasses and rocks outside were also soon decorated with discarded crawdad shells and broken bottles, the perfect environment for any child to play in. You also never knew when certain special events were going to happen! At least three times a year, the water main would rupture and we wouldn't have water for a day or two. Instead of letting the job be done right and fixing the problem at large, many areas of Copper Chase look like a semi permanent construction zone so that they know exactly where the break will be when the event occurs later that year, what insightful forethought! Copper Chase also offers a zero chlorine pool amenity full of unwashed tenants just waiting to exchange the latest sicknesses! They say that it's communities like that that make the communal bonds stronger, and who am I to argue? The laundry facilities are conveniently located right next to the pool, and offer not one, not two, but seven out of order washers with no support from local management or the owners of the machines! But don't worry, they keep the lock on the door secure so that no vagrants can come in and shower with the washer hoses. Speaking of these bathing sojourners, they can often be seen all over looking through trash and cigarette butts for something worth smoking or selling. In the warmer months, these same happy hoppers can be found camping out in tents along the back edges of the property in a very colorful assortment of abodes. We gladly gave up our residence at this veritable palace so that you and yours can experience all of the perks that make Copper Chase such a unique place to live in Colorado Springs. Enjoy your stay!"
