Reviews
"Outlook West Mesa is home! Not only did the staff make my move-in experience as smooth as possible but they genuinely remember their residents. I swear I move every year and this is the first time staff has remembered my name and my dogs name! Big brownie points for me. I am looking forward to living here for awhile. Thank you for everything!"
"I have been trying hard to hold off on this review but I feel like others should know what they are walking into. Let’s start with the positives. 1. Location is good, close to the highway but not a ton of noise from it. 2. Apartments look nice. 3. Parking is usually available (which likely will change once construction is done.) 4. There’s a walking trail behind the apartments which is great (really would like for the path to be completed tho) 5. Maintenance is responsive and kind. Now the negatives: 1. The office staff is less than responsive. If you need response the only way to get it is to repeatedly contact or show up to the office and even then don’t hold your breath that what you are told is accurate. The failure to their communication pushed out my move in by almost 2 weeks. 2. You can hear EVERYTHING from your neighbors. 3. Construction and insulation is bad. My pipes froze due to poor insulation forcing me out of my apartment for several days. (The office manager couldn’t be bothered to reach out and tell me what to expect with being out of my home, I had to call and email before I got actual communication from any one besides maintenance.) 3. I moved-in in November and the pool and hot tub have been full since then but it’s still not open and it’s a new excuse every time I ask. 4. The rest of the amenities are still under construction with no signs of that changing. (Gym is open but when you ask for additions to it they say they’ll look in to it.) 5. Nickel and dime for everything. If you want to park here expect to pay for it. Wanna use the mail room for packages expect to pay for it. We are paying for the pool to be full and heated but can’t use it. I want so badly to love it here, but sadly it has been a struggle to."
"We are now 8 months in to our lease at Outlook West Mesa. The location is great, and the ladies in the front office are all very nice. That’s about where the good ends unfortunately. Despite being promised multiple times that the pool and other amenities would be ready within a month or two of us moving in, in July of 2023, we are now 8 months in and not a single one of the promised amenities has been completed. No pool, no grills, no fire pits, no dog park. They just keep claiming construction delays. Still no amenities after 8 months is not a “construction delay” it is an utter failure on the companies part to meet their obligation to their tenants. We feel like we were completely lied to in order to get us to sign a lease. For an apartment that we are paying basically $2300 a month for, this is absolutely unacceptable. Speaking of the price, they WILL nickle and dime you for absolutely everything. Want to park here? $10 a month. Want to have a guest stay with you? $6 per night for them to park here. The door to our building is constantly left unlocked because the construction crews store items in one of the apartments. As for the apartments themselves, they look nice on the surface but they used literally the cheapest materials possible, and very shoddy workmanship. Touch the walls and the paint scuffs, AC and heat is the loudest unit I have ever heard to the point you can barely watch TV in the living room while it is running. Hope you like to hear lots of road noise and your neighbors because there is no sound proofing in these apartments at all. They constantly send community-wide threatening emails about possible “lease violations” for stupid things like having something on your balcony they don’t want you to. Before writing this review I contacted our property manager to request some sort of adjustment to our price considering we still have zero of the amenities we were promised and we were told “we signed the lease with the under-construction clause, so they would do nothing for us”. Any reasonable person would not expect to be over half-way in to their lease and still be paying a premium for amenities that DO NOT EXIST. Whatever you do, do not sign a lease with these people until this complex is fully completed. You can find an equivalent complex, with functioning amenities anywhere is CO Springs for probably less than this place that has no amenities."
"Be aware!! They might increase your monthly rate after you submit an application!! I applied for an apartment & got approved. Then when it came to sign the lease, my monthly rate increased by over a $120. They said it was like that when I applied… Idk about y’all, but I don’t accidentally apply for apartments well over my budget. It’s not exactly something you pass over casually. Hell, I even triple check my cart before checking out on Amazon. Not saying they do this to everyone but they did it to me, so please keep this in mind BEFORE you give them your non-refundable 300$ application fee.."
"Best Staff I’ve ever met! Both Ashley and Alicia are so kind and amazing!! Great view of Pike’s Peak! Amenities are spectacular, lots of nearby shopping; car wash, King Soopers, Starbucks! All within a minute drive. Highly recommended!!"
