"I lived here for 2 years and no issues with the complex or the staff. I had very few maintenance requests and they were handled quickly. I outgrew the studio space and needed a larger living area which prompted me to move. I recommend if you are looking to lease."
"Disappointing Experience at Bella Terra City Apartments: A Review As a person of color, my experience at Bella Terra City Apartments over the past two years has been deeply disappointing and unpleasant, particularly towards the end of my tenancy. From unwarranted accusations to persistent neglect of essential amenities, my time at Bella Terra was marred by systemic issues that disproportionately affected residents of color. One of the most egregious incidents occurred when a friend of mine was falsely accused of inappropriate behavior without any substantial evidence provided. Despite claims of possessing video proof, management failed to produce it, leaving us to question the integrity of their accusations. Furthermore, the baseless accusation of smoking marijuana in the gym, a violation of property rules, further exacerbated tensions. It is worth noting that the gym's proximity to the main office makes it highly unlikely that such activity would go unnoticed by other residents or staff, yet no complaints were made besides the unsubstantiated accusation. However, the most significant and persistent issue was the malfunctioning washers and dryers, which remained inoperable for the majority of the year. Despite numerous complaints, management's response was dismissive, with excuses such as "it's not my problem" being offered instead of proactive solutions. This lack of accountability meant that residents without in-unit laundry facilities were left without a viable option for washing clothes, despite paying premium rent for the supposed exclusivity of the complex. Attempts to transfer to units with functioning washers and dryers were met with further frustration as promised appointments were disregarded, and available units were allocated arbitrarily, contrary to the principle of "first come, first serve" as claimed by management. This lack of transparency only served to exacerbate existing grievances. In an act of protest against the ongoing negligence, I withheld rent until action was taken to address the laundry room issues. Despite this, management continued to demand payment, culminating in threats of eviction and unwarranted charges for February rent after I had already vacated the premises. It was only after persistent pressure that management claimed to seek a new vendor for the washers and dryers, a move that should have been undertaken long before my intervention. This lackadaisical approach to resolving fundamental issues speaks volumes about the disregard for the well-being and comfort of residents of color. In conclusion, Bella Terra City Apartments failed to fulfill its obligations to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for all residents, regardless of race or ethnicity. I caution prospective tenants, especially those of color, to look elsewhere for housing, as the management's indifference to legitimate concerns is indicative of a broader systemic problem within the complex. Additionally, the mismanagement extended to financial matters as well. At one point, they even misplaced my rent payment, causing unnecessary stress and impacting my payment history. Such negligence reflects poorly on their organizational competence and further erodes trust between residents and management. Moreover, it's essential to highlight the recurring issue with the broken gate from the previous year. Despite being a critical security feature, the gate remained dysfunctional for an entire year, leaving residents vulnerable. Despite this glaring lapse in security, residents were still expected to pay full rent, even though they were not receiving the promised level of security. It took an unacceptably long time for management to address this issue, and residents were not adequately compensated for the lack of security and peace of mind during that period."
"Just moved out after 4 years. Back in june we had flooding. Maintenance did a shotty job of caring for my ceiling even after i had several work orders put in for it. When i moved out they then TRIED TO BILL ME FOR IT. Crooks! Thankfully, collections had the sense to cancel the charge and even got me my deposit back, but these guys are crooks. Absolute ZERO communication when you need them and if you dont put up a fight, they will try to get you at some point. Go look somewhere else."
"In the four years I've lived at Bella terra, we have had our share of rowdy neighbors and unexpected emergency events but maintenance and office staff have always been supportive and friendly no matter the issue. Maintenance member Tony Mayfield in particular has always been extremely helpful and hard working. They are an amazing group here."
"Friendly staff and nice clean property. Ozzly the property manager is running things quite nice and smooth. I was here on a professional level today and was impressed with the staff and property quality. I went to middle school and high school just down the street from here. It brought back some very found memories of my childhood. This property has been here for a numbers of years and I had friend that lived here in high school and after. Te integrity and quality have always been nice. Nice size apartments 2x2 1x1 and studios are available staring at 1025 per month. Landscaping, exterior and interiors are nicely appointed. Clubhouse has a 24hr fitness room with new equipment Business center is well equipped with up to date technology. Washer and dryer in the units makes for a less stressful laundry experience. The best part easy o bus lines and close retail and food venues. But best of all the Dairy Queen across the street. Nice place to live."
