"Misty was by far the easiest to speak with, she’s very empathetic and considerate towards people in a professional manner. I highly recommend going to her for any problems or changes you need, as a family oriented person, she has been a great support and is very helpful in accomplishing everything needed for a comfortable stay. Being a very good listener, she’s very attentive in her work and by the far the best and most understanding to speak to and address issues to."
"Horrible Experience.!!! :-( :-( I moved here from a different state in Sept 2022 and stayed here for 14 months. The leasing office takes forever to receive resident calls, takes forever to do the maintenance. The Facebook group of this community is more active and helpful than the community itself. I have already moved out but I am still facing issues with the final check. Not just this but there were security issues when I used to live here, for example - 1. the fire alarm used to turn ON anytime during the day without any prior notice and btw most of them were false alarms. 2. The front doors intercom was off for months, I always used to go the lobby to get my heavy grocery packages. 3. The streets were super unsafe, I heard gun shots so many times and people chasing each other in their trucks. They have recently changed their management and moved to grey star. I have been trying to get in touch with them on emails and calls, NO RESPONSE."
"Don’t move here. Unless you want to always deal with broken elevators and doors, frequently shut down amenities, constant and loud construction, disgusting smells through out the halls, and a potential car theft/vandalism - just find ANYWHERE ELSE. This has hands down been the absolute worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. The only issue we never dealt with was with the leasing office. They were pretty responsive, and easy to work with. Minus the time we had reserved their party room, and the front office mixed up the reservations. It caused an altercation between myself and the other family (who didn’t even live there) because they refused to leave, and the front office gal was terrified of kicking them out, because they were already screaming and threatening to physically assault the management, and myself. They did offer a rent deduction to rectify the situation which I happily accepted. The building and maintenance is where the real issues lie, and it’s not at the fault of the front office but the property owners themselves. Don’t be wooed by the 8 weeks free. Somehow you still pay 2k+ for a studio size apartment. During a snow storm last year, the maintenance crew did not plow the top level of the garage where I payed to park. I was unable to get my car up the ramp without getting stuck so I parked my car in the guest parking. Next morning my car was broken into, and attempted to be stolen. They weren’t able to take my car, but enough damage was done to total out my car and send it to the scrap. The repair cost more than the car itself. Because they state that they’re not liable for this kind of stuff, my only blame is that they didn’t properly plow the garage causing me to park my car in the unsecured parking area. Had they plowed, I wouldn’t have needed a new car. I asked management for assistance in filing the report with the video evidence caught on the garage cameras only to be told the cameras only face the door, and capture people coming and going. Another woman in the community noted that someone broke into her ground-level apartment through her patio while she was home. I never felt safe here, everything was always broken including the Latch system to unlock your own apartment doors, and the complex was dirty all the time. I lived in the North building and cannot speak to the experience of anyone in the South building. When I toured, another tenant entered the elevator at the same time, and directly told me to not move there in front of the agent who gave us the tour. I should’ve heeded his warning."
"I moved here because I attend school across the street and I thought it was a nice place to live. But it has been so stressful. The roadwork across the street is constant and makes it hard to sleep. On top of that, it's hard to get into the building because two of the roads are blocked off. I know this is not something they can control, so its not the biggest issue I have. However, the management here is one of the worst I've seen. First, Misty from the office is very disrespectful and lacks competency to perform her job. This last week, the portal to pay rent was down, so management was only accepting paper checks. When I asked for the amount I needed to pay, it was over calculated (by Misty) by over 100$. Not only can she not do her job, but every time I am in the office she is rude. She doesn't care about the residents or helping with anything. I am honestly not sure what she does other than sit in her chair all day. Even then, she could at least be nice and friendly once in a while. Or maybe not work a job that needs you to at least pretend like you care. Second, maintenance requests are ignored. I have put in requests and they haven't been resolved for months. these include issues such as the locks not working when you try to open them, making it difficult to enter the building from some of the doors. Other areas of the building do not even lock, which means there are homeless people wandering the halls on a regular basis. This is not what I signed up for when I chose to pay several thousand dollars in rent every month. The maintenance staff are very nice and friendly when I do see them, but it seems they are really understaffed. Third, the amenities here are nice such as the pool and common areas. However, they are "under repair" for months at a time. I haven't been able to use the pool nor hot tub because it is always closed. Even the garage (which I pay to park in) had the door broken for an entire month. The only reason I pay for parking is for the added security of the locked door. Aurora is not the safest and cars are constantly getting broken into or catalytic converters are getting stole. It shouldn't take that long to fix a garage door."
"After a few months of living at legacy at fitz, I know I made the right call and it just keeps getting better too! The gym, pool area, and BBQ in the rooftop are amazing to hang out with friends and family. The community and staff have been welcoming and energetic too. Even the 24-hour security and valet team are friendly! I specially love that it's in the historic section of east colfax .I made an appointment with the leasing office they were very professional and I was amazed how they helped get my apartment in a matter of 2 days and on a weekend! They did such a great job showing off the various units, and amenities. So far so good! :) update they've almost complete construction! Happy day!"
