"We have completed the contract nearly 6 months but still have not received the deposit. I've texted the manager many times but still haven't received any response. When we arrived, we still couldn't find the building manager to resolve the issue. So what should we do now? Very disappointing"
"So today I woke up and I saw a final warning on my door and my question is where are my other 2 warning never got them and I’ve been living here for 1 year and in that whole year they took my water away like 4 times and we don’t get notified when that’s going to happen so we can get prepared and if we are talking about trash you guys should give a warning to the people that have pets and don’t clean up after them selfs"
"The women in the office I think her name is Ashleigh, she’s amazing and so helpful. She sat down with me and talked about prices and all. She was very helpful and informative she needs a bonus and get a all paid vacation.."
"The worst apartments ever. They don't have management. There is loud music everywhere. I don't like name-calling people but Wendy does not really care about the people and their concerns. I don't know if that is her personality or she doesn't care about the property, I don't think she can manage the property well, since she can't enforce any rule. People bought big speakers and they put them outside, they build a tent inside the apartment complex like it's a club. There is much crazy stuff they do but unfortunately, there is no one to complain to nor anybody who is going to do anything. Thanks for your time and if you are the property owner please get somebody who can manage and enforce the rules in your property and get Wendy another job that she is good at. But if you are a customer looking for a place to live in please go somewhere else."
"Overall, an okay place to live for the price. My girlfriend and I lived here for the last year. And it was okay to get us into the state, but we were pretty happy when we moved out. Cons: Our unit did not have a dishwasher, nor could the window air conditioning properly circulate. Our bedroom was often too hot, even with the window open in the middle of winter, and sometimes requiring me to sleep with an ice pack. Our neighbors bought their own AC unit for their bedroom. There's no way to turn off the heating (it is done centrally using hot water and heat fins). Rent seemed to go up arbitrarily, with new parking fees getting tacked on towards the end of our lease. The courtyard had a distinct bad smell most days, and the people living there regularly litter all over the parking lot. I genuinely feel bad for the maintenance having to clean all of it up. The area has highway background noise as 225 was within earshot. The area can also be a little sketchy. One day randomly, it seemed like someone took a pickax to one of the washers. If you drive up Billings I saw at least 2 cars with shattered glass on the road. There are also quite a bit of panhandlers around Colfax. Pros: Under new management though, things at Shadow Tree seem to be improving. The one semi-working communal washer (first few months we lived there) was replaced with 4 new washers and 4 new dryers. The parking lots were re-paved. Ron (the owner) is a fantastic person to work with. We never dealt with pests in our unit (aside from a few flies), though the pest control company did say we were surrounded by people who had problems. The room felt spacious for the square footage. And it is very easy to get on the highway from the location to go places."
