"My roommate and I applied to an apartment here and never received a refund for the expensive holding deposit fee despite canceling our application within the 72 hours. I’ve called and emailed countless times over the past month and a half asking if the check has been sent out yet but they never have followed up with any information. I am promised every time that I will receive a call back that day but I never have received a call back. Wish we had never applied. Update: They never reached out once - had to dispute it with my cc company."
"Lived here for 4 year almost now I’ve had the steps break on me a few time only for the property manager to erase my notes and history. I’ve also had concrete poured in my car with zero compensation."
"When I first moved in, my fridge was not working and we had someone come out and look at it. They said it was fine and then it worked for not even a week and the fridge and freezer both broke. I have now lost $200 worth of food. The best part was that I was supposed to have my new fridge by Friday or Monday and now they are saying that it will be installed tomorrow (tuesday). Thank god we have a mini fridge, that's the only thing keeping our other food from going bad. I haven't been able to grocery shop because only so many things can fit. The key to my mailbox also does not work, you would think that since I just moved in, they'd be on top of everything. Very disappointed as I am a brand new resident and the amount of problems i've already had here are alarming. Parking is also a nightmare as there are no assigned parking spots and people can bring however many people they want and park wherever they want. Update: Just signed a new lease here and I have had my car broken into and our storage closet was also broken into. We make sure to lock both every single time we go in our out. I called the apartment complex and they didn't seem too concerned about our safety and said they were not liable for any lost or damaged items. What a joke of an apartment. Don't waste your money here. There is black mold, you get 0 sunlight in your apartment, the apartment retains little to no heat and will get your things you work hard for stolen and good luck getting a hold of the leasing office. They are lazy and could care less about you."
"Tried to look at a unit to decide if I’d be interested in renting here but the employee kept telling to look at the layouts online or on paper. Train your damn employees properly. Part of why prospective tenants stop by to view a unit in person is to see the property, the amenities, and learn about pricing. It’s not just about seeing the actual unit they may rent, photos aren’t the same as seeing the actual quality, size, layout in person. It’s also about the staff. No chance I’ll rent here after that. Edit to add response: she tried to show me floorplans before she even mentioned the model. The way she communicated with me was as if she didn’t want to help me and that’s not the way I want to be treated by a landlord every time I have to contact them. She wasn’t friendly."
"Since I moved into my apartment on May 9, 2023 the whole apartment has smelled like smoke. The best offer that the leasing office did was to try "sanitize" the apartment after I moved in. The machine used not only didn't clear up the smell, the chemical used soaked into my furniture. I have tried to lesson the smell by running the ac and opening the windows and screen doors. I have also tried to use a air purifier throughout the day. I have went as far to use a water/ammonia mix to clean the walls but it still very pungent by the entry way, the bathroom, and walk-in closet. I signed a 14 month lease and never was given the opportunity to see the apartment before signing the contract. If I had there would have been very little chance of me going with that apartment. I have been so disappointed with the experience with this apartment complex that not only was I not made aware of the status, but have not been offered to set me up in another apartment. I feel its only right seeing that since from day one it hasn't gotten better."
