Hyatt House Denver/Lakewood At Belmar

"Good things: Amazing location in cute little “downtown” with access to restaurants and an ample of free open and garage parking. The breakfast spread is alright with scrambled eggs, bread, yogurt, oatmeal and milk options. I stayed in a 2-queen bedroom suite (pictures attached) and it was great. Later I moved to a specialty suite which I had reserved and it was even amazing with a separate living room and plenty of walking space. As always, equipped with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, basic old coffee maker and pots and pans. Has laundry (2.5/wash and 2.5/dry). 24 h access gym with treadmills and weights. An indoor Shallow pool (not hot). Bad things: It’s not up to the par for longer stays, ironically. I stayed in March and had terrible experience getting the room serviced on time. They said it’s every other day but even then when it was serviced, it was not cleaned, not even vacuumed. I had to request 4 times over 7 days to have it cleaned (one day they simply made the bed, the other day they forgot, the staff was super busy, the next day staff went earlier) Thanks to the staff, I got points for 2 nights as a compensation."

"Excellent on all levels. Rooms are big and very clean. Hotel is very secure, including the elevators. Great location, Whole Foods across the street and lots of decent restaurants close by. Breakfast was also excellent, especially considering it’s free! Staff was also excellent. 5 stars all the way around."

"The hotel is in a great location with Target across the street plus other shopping options like Nordstrom Rack. The front desk staff are extremely nice, helpful, and professional. Breakfast was included and it wasn’t bad at all. The room was super clean and felt like a small apartment - the room we stayed in had a cute kitchenette with a small kitchen island. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Denver!"

"We had a very good three-night stay here during thanksgiving. The rooms are well appointed and the suites have a variety of kitchen items. The sofa bed was more comfortable than in other suites we have stayed in. The complimentary breakfast every morning is more than enough, only suggestion is that it is lacking in vegetarian options. The buffet had one-two items changing per day but became progressively less vegetarian friendly across the three days. The location is amazing with shops and restaurants and pharmacies within walking distance. There is a solid gym and pool and the lobby is very nice. Will definitely stay here on any future trip to the Denver area."

"I’ve stayed at the Hyatt a few times when back in Denver for work and it is a great property. The rooms are nicely updated and having the kitchenette when in town for 4-5 nights is nice so you’re not stuck doing takeout the entire time. There is a lot that is walkable from the hotel which is nice if you forget something or just want stuff to do. The one downside to the location is it shares a parking lot with the Belmar Target so the parking can be tight. You can park in any Target spot but you may be stuck walking from Target to the hotel which is fine normally but feels sketchy when I leave at 4am to head to my gym so just something to consider. The staff is all very nice, I’ve stayed here 4 trips in the last year and I have only had pleasant interactions."
