"We hired Christian to cook lunch and dinner for a group of about 15 for a girl's weekend trip. He made the whole process SO easy and friendly. We didn't really know what to expect but he made the planning very non-intimidating! He was super happy to accommodate variations for all our various dietary needs like vegetarian and gluten-free. He's very friendly and easy going, someone you want to have around. He's great at having a subtle presence in the background but also happy to chat if you feel like it. He's very good at reading the room on how formal or informal we wanted things. We didn't know if having someone cook for us would feel a bit awkward but it didn't at all. OK I've saved the best part for last . . . THE FOOD. I was blown away by how delicious every single meal was, and he sourced amazing ingredients. He picked the best, freshest fish for us based on what the market had that day and we loved his suggestions. He did an excellent job keeping the meals balanced with lots of fresh veggies, and the flavours were excellent. Just really well done without being "too weird" the way some chefs get when they're trying to be TOO creative! He even did extras like appetizers and deserts and everything was just SO. GOOD. And the price was completely fair. I wish I lived locally so I could eat Christian's food again!"
