While you don't need to be Italian to make great pizza, it certainly doesn't hurt!

At Proto's Pizza, we believe in the importance of abundance and sharing it with others. That's why we are committed to supporting local non-profits that help those in need, such as our 3L Foundation which works with children in Thailand who have been abused, neglected, and trafficked.

"Lunch special @protospizzagunbarrel is a reasonably good deal. Caesar salad, and The Proto Pie also came with a drink and you could add on a cannoli or gelato dessert. I opted for the amazing flourless chocolate cake special. I’d like to go back and try some of the other pizzas. It was a nice area lots of parking in the structure across the street. I liked the vibe inside."

"This place is up there. Their olive oil and red sauce are good! Clam pizza paired with wine or beer makes for a perfect Friday. Not only they have great pizza, they are the nicest people; call in your order!"

"My favorite spot in Gunbarrel! The service is so fast it’s almost unbelievable. They will deliver a delicious oven-fired pizza to your table every time, regardless of what you pick on the menu. The lunch special is a great deal, including a salad, a pizza, and a drink. Whether you’re coming to Proto’s with a large family, or just coming by yourself to watch a game at the bar, they will accommodate you and keep you happy."

"Delicious pizza and great service. The Proto Pie was such a great combination of flavors. Our waitress, Chelsea, was very knowledgeable about all the local beers on tap. It has a very lively, warm atmosphere. Definitely got busy around dinner time, so keep that in mind. Can't wait to go back!"
