"Overall Imperial House is a great deal for the location. They are older apartments so you are getting what you paid for. The walls are truly paper thin, as you could probably manage to have a conversation with the your neighbor if you wanted to. However most are respectful so it is not too much of an issue. Again the location is great for catching the bus on Broadway, walking over to Pearl, or shopping and dining at the Ideal Market plaza. One issue to note is that the neighborhood has a problem with Box Elder beetles (attracted to trees of the same name). In the fall the beetles gather on the south facing wall, and then start to move indoors, especially on the lower two floors. They are hibernating so they are slow and easy to kill, but you do get a lot of them if you happen to live on that side of the building. The management is great, and the property manager does an amazing job at all hours of the day. I get the feeling she is working with almost no budget, but still does an amazing job. I loved living here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to live in North Boulder on a budget."
