"We had our team event at Hotel Boulderado. The room rate seems reasonable, however all sorts of extra charges add up to be a lot. $270 per day to rent a low end projector, $50 per day for a whiteboard, every half hour after 5pm they charge you $75. They told us this is to cover the extra hours the manager has to stay. On the day when we need to stay till 6pm, the manager asked us if he could leave and refresh the room next day. We said it's fine, however we were still charged for the extra $150. The screen to project to is not flat. My team had hard time to follow the rows of spreadsheets presented. We were surprised to see no projector was in the meeting room when we arrived. We asked the manager what’s going on. He did bring one shortly but we were asked to pay a ASAP fee. For anything you didn't ask 72 hours in advance you will be charged the ASAP fee. Not sure where is the disconnection, we did request a project. $69 per gallon for coffee or tea. No outside food/drink is allowed. Anything you order will be charged a banquet fee about 30%. I wouldn’t host any team event there in the future."

"I was at the hotel for a private party. The food was outstanding. The service is excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I've only stayed as a hotel guest once before but do remember that the rooms were very comfortable. Ann, Denver"

"It was a treat to stay at the Boulderado. Perfect downtown Boulder location, just off the Pearl St. mall, walking distance to all sorts of fun. Hotel lobby is a historic gem, beautiful stained glass ceiling and classic wood work. Really cool antique mechanical football game by front desk (free nickels to plan upon request). Staff was kind and laidback. Room on the new side was clean and comfortable."

"This is an older hotel that retains it's charm without being too dated. You really get the feel of the history of Boulder with the architecture, decorations, and layout. The restaurant, bar, and downstairs bar are all attached, so you don't need to trek in the snow to find food and drinks."

"Funny I was going to rate the hotel as a 3 but gave it a 4. The location is a five very close to tons of restaurants shops hiking the university etc. Services are a 5 as the valet front desk and room service is very good. The room and bathroom are a nice size but really dated. The clock radio has an Apple phone attachment from 15+ years ago so I am assuming it hasn’t been renovated since then. It’s also really annoying to be in the north tower taking two elevators and a skyway to get there. I bet there are renovated rooms in the hotel but we didn’t get one. The bed is also small and the heat doesn’t really go down no matter how low you set the thermostat. The coffee maker is also 20 years old and sitting in the bathroom. Meanwhile the hotel itself is historic and worth checking out. We only paid $160 per night including taxes but the valet is $30 so be aware. The gym is an afterthought. You should stay here as it’s a really worth a try."
