"I think its a decent option for those looking to live close to campus. However for the price it's a bit disappointing. AC and water heaters never work right, even after putting in several maintenance requests. On top of that the staff is composed entirely of college students who aren't capable of even the simplest tasks."

"Jake gave a great tour! Showed me all the amenities and answered all the questions I had. He even gave me a cookie because they had a cookie decorating event. Thanks Jake :)"

"I toured the apartments a few days ago with Jake L. After looking at a few different complexes, this one by far had the best service and hospitality giving a good impression of the community as a whole. Really leaning towards moving in here and would highly recommend!"

"As someone who lived here from 2022 to 2023 I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Management was negligent at best. Due to construction in the building, my apartment flooded three times, and one time my room was soaked in inches of water so I had to move into a hotel for the weekend. They have the most confusing process of splitting and paying electricity bills through a 3rd party which results in extra fees simply because many cannot figure out the payment system. Management refuses to cooperate with residents about switching roommates or apartments, so you are stuck permanently with whoever you are placed with if you choose random. Large homeless population that slept in the garage and near the doors. Fire alarm would often go off randomly at night or early morning hours due to construction. Construction workers would leave doors propped open letting anyone inside. Many packages were stolen as there are no security measurements for the mail room and no cameras. The gym had no AC and was the size of a hallway. "Study room" closed at 6pm and was practically worthless. Rent was exorbidantly expensive for how small and gross the apartments were. AC frequently broke. I have not met one person who enjoyed their experience at University Village in Boulder. Management is predatory and will exploit you for all your money. They do not care about your concerns, safety, or happiness as a resident. DO NOT COME HERE. Anywhere else is better."

"No matter what is drawing your attention to this place, please turn away. If you look at these reviews and think you can stick it out, like my roommates and I thought, you would be completely wrong. Though some of the amenities are nice, this apartment cares about your money so much more than you. My apartment had a broken AC unit that we placed around 6 service requests for in the fall. Not one time was the unit adequately repaired. As the temperature began to change in October, we gave up dealing with management and decided to hold out until we needed AC over the summer. We placed a service request as it was getting hot out again, and low and behold they finally replaced our unit and our apartment was a tolerable temperature not a balmy 86 degrees!!! but unfortunately that was 5 days before our lease ended and was clearly just to make the incoming tenants happy for a short while. I decided to live here because no matter how bad the reviews were I assumed that I would have a functioning AC unit, and at the very least not have to interact with management and make things work. It was miserable to study in my room and I lost countless hours of sleep. University Village did compensate me for overages on the utility bill from the AC unit, but it did not account for the lack of sleep and trouble studying from our hot apartment. Not to mention that you cannot justify charging tenants $1,400 per month without AC. I know that I will get a response to call the customer service team, but I have tried communicating with them, however I received responses days after I sent emails and responses that sounded like my emails were completely ignored. I hope that management can figure out a way to put tenants before their money, but I don't see that happening any time soon. If you have already signed your lease, good luck!"
