"A small airport with lots of 4 seater prop planes. We took our toddlers and sat in the car and watched the planes land and take off. Super fun way to entertain the kids when there is nothing else planned."

"This has been my home airport for about 2 years, and I can't say enough about what an awesome airport it is! Journeys aviation is a wonderful school, people are awesome and super duper friendly, you get to see cool gliders, planes, and quite often helicopters! This airport is awesome! And for all the people that say things about noise abatement, the airport was founded in 1940, long before you decided to move right next to an airport."

"This has been my home airport for several years. Almost all pilots observe the traffic pattern plan to avoid nearby housing by flying straight out on runway 8 (080°) until at 500 feet above ground, then departing east or north or south. If staying in the pattern, they fly just south of Jay Road, then base leg over the soccer fields, then final over Hayden Lake. For runway 26, it's the reverse of that. This airfield opened in 1940, long before others came."
