"I was seen here last fall for chronic post car accident pain until I had a unprofessional mortifying encounter with Ashlyn late October of '23 that led me to calling my PCP and finishing my PT elsewhere. My privacy was violated and PTSD triggered. This place was the first place I tried using dual insurance (UHC & Medicaid). I had some issues in the beginning getting claims bounced back due to incorrect DOB not matching my driver's license. I called both carriers to correct this. NOBODY said anything about this for weeks thereafter. I didn't know this issue wasn't resolved until late October when Ashlyn cornered me on the floor by the beds while I was working with my therapist. She did not wait to speak to me in private and had to speak to me with my therapist present with patients within earshot. Her tone was condescending and aggressive as if I was a fraudulent teenager trying to get away with free sessions. Just when I thought she was done with her spiel, she went on some more about the same issue as if I didn't hear her the first time. I couldn't get a word in other than "ok" "sure" "I'll check both carriers again". I was mortified and in utter shock. This could've been handled privately and discreetly but it wasn't. In a healthcare setting, I expected this to not happen. I loved working with my therapists here and if this hadn't happened, I'd be finishing PT here. I added an extra star because of the effective treatment I was getting and the wonderful therapists that made my issues feel heard."
