Jolene is professional, experienced, caring, and made this the best experience possible for the prenatal/delivery/postpartum care I received. She was not rushed during my appointments, responsive to questions and my communication with her (which you can't get from a doctor), and had suggestions with more natural remedies for my concerns. I delivered my 3rd child at home, a water birth. My first 2 kids were born in hospitals, and my experiences were vastly different. This home delivery was peaceful & intimate & beautiful. I'm so thankful for the care she and her team provided for me, my baby, and family!!"

"From my first meeting with Jolene she has been nothing short of amazing. This being my third and last child, I truly wanted the ultimate birth experience. Jolene and her team did everything possible to make my pregnancy and delivery exactly how I imagined it would be. She is beyond knowledgeable, patient, and kind and was always available to answer my questions and ease any concerns that arose. My appointments were never rushed and I really appreciated being able to bring my older children as well. They absolutely loved being involved by helping find baby’s heartbeat at visits and attending the birth. "I highly recommend Jolene Hamann and her assisting midwives. My husband and I chose Jolene as our midwife after one of my closest friends had Jolene deliver her baby. My friend called me and excitedly told me “you will love her, you should have her be your midwife when you get pregnant.” This occurred two and a half years ago. Last year in May of 2017 I could hardly wait to call Jolene and see if she was available to be our midwife. When my husband and I initially sat down with Jolene we both were hoping she was the one! My husband was hesitant about having a home birth because he had never been exposed to the idea. He wanted to make sure our future baby and I were in good hands. After that first appointment my husband and I were so impressed by her professionalism, education, experience, sincerity and friendliness that we had complete peace about working with her. During my pregnancy my husband and I always looked forward to our appointments with her. Having someone totally invested in you and your growing family and in a peaceful and safe environment was a special thing. She is so easy to talk to, has integrity, is so calm and confident that my husband and I truly enjoyed our experience. Then once I went into labor and once our Doula contacted her, she and her assisting midwife were at our home within thirty minutes if I remember correctly. I knew I was in good hands with Jolene and Amy there. Their experience and presence was so comforting. I knew that my baby and I were taken care of. After I gave birth, it was so amazing to see how efficient they were and what I truly appreciated is that Jolene an Amy explained everything they did before and or during. They were so attentive and loving. My husband and I often talk about how great they were and what a great experience it was. Thank you doesn’t express our deep appreciation enough to you ladies. We are so thankful for the memories and experience with you and our first pregnancy and delivery at home."

I was new to Colorado Springs when I was pregnant with my fourth child so I was a bit nervous about finding a new midwife and place to give birth since there was no birth centers.
