"This is a decent stay at a price that's not too bad. My room is clean, the bed is reasonably comfortable, and having the kitchenette is nice. The location is convenient to shopping dining, and I-25. You can hear the traffic highway and Nevada Ave., but it's nothing that having the fan on won't cover up. Overall, no complaints."
"The large apartment feel was great. It was really important for us to close of mom and dad's sleeping area from the kids so we got a qeen room with a fold out bed from the couch. Bill was great, the staff on a whole were great. However, families beware! The walls are thin, therefore temperamental two year old that doesn't like the idea of daddy leaving at 10AM will get you a noise complaint call. Yes, that's right 10AM, not PM. Also, families of four or more, unless you get two Queens, you are NOT entitled to four towels as per and will "have to buy your own" as explained by night staff when we discovered only two in the room. Though in the morning Bill was more than happy to give us extra towels. Though he did explain that the room with the pullout couch bed didn't qualify for extra towels. Would have been nice to know when we were looking at various options, not after paying for the week. Also, what they don't tell you up front. Housekeeping is once a week. If you run out of toilet paper before then, buy your own. They only give you one roll for the whole week. Great for singles or couples, but it's right beside the bathtub, so not kid friendly. Plus, trash is do it yourself. As a family that travels a lot this is not something we look for when paying $350 a week. The kitchens are not fully equipped. No coffee makers, no plates, cups, utensils, no crappie pot or pan. Nada. They don't offer complimentary coffee either. No free breakfast. The hotel advertises itself as smoke free, but there's cigarette damage everywhere. In the bathroom on the side of the tub, all over the carpet. There's stains all over the carpet. The wall by the a/c unit was in poor condition and crumbling. We had to have the window open (during 40degree weather) while blasting the a/c just to cool the other side of the room, which left mom and dad freezing at night so the kids could be cool. They're good if you don't have a family, they're good if you are in a pinch. However for the price you pay. I would (and did) willingly pay $200 more a month for Extended Stay America which is right across the street. The amenities are significantly lacking, this place is more like a furnished apartment than a hotel. we had better services at the Motel 6 in Pueblo CO. and that one was horrible. The upside. The mountain views were spectacular!"
"They did not keep our room reservation when we attempted to book online. Fortunately we did get a room though. The room was sufficiently clean, and furnished. There was an actual full sized fridge and even some electric burners, which was nice. The walls were very thin though and it seemed as though I could here people from at least 2 rooms down. There are likely better options for staying overnight nearby, but this place is fine in a pinch."
"Do not stay here. I do not care how much more (or less) the other extended stays in the city are....GO THERE instead. The manager here is extremely nice which makes it hard to say I hate this place. The rooms are beat up and shabby and every room just smells. Housekeeping will come but be warned, if you are in your room they will do as little as possible. Also be warned that people are permanent residences here, so if you have a loud neighbor, they aren't going away. I had to switch rooms because the first time the people above me would scream and fight and yell all night long. I was here for work, for a month. I cannot be dealing with that. I was moved on the opposite side of the hall and get this, the family above me is even worse. It did not matter how many times I complained to the front desk and begged them to talk to the people above us just to at least stop the noise after 11pm, nothing went unchanged. And the kitchen SUCKS. The pans they provide for you are the absolute worse pans on the planted. The stove is fine, heats up quickly, but these pans. They have no non-stick agents in them whatsoever, so literally everything you cook in them sticks and is ruined. Soup sticks to them, not quite sure how that's possible, but it happened. The microwave is fine and its a full size fridge. But if you are staying here for a while, I would highly suggest buying a pan at the store to be able to cook. Also, there is no dishwasher, so be warned you need to buy a sponge. They do provide you with a small bottle of dish soap. After this whole trip, I cannot imagine the money I spent trying to make my stay here somewhat not terrifying. The amount of air fresheners and what not to combat the smells, ear plugs, you name it. And this place is not cheap. I do not know what the prices are for the Extended Stay (there's another hotel as well, can't remember off the top of my head) is, stay there instead. As I'm typing this the child above me is screaming at the top of his lungs and stomping around. Its 10:30pm. Great. I hate it here, literally."
"This is the best 4-star hotel we have ever been to, and we travel a lot. At Colorado Dog Whisperer we travel all over Colorado, frequenting Colorado Springs. The Hotel is very, very clean. From the lobby and hallways to the bathtub and linens everything looked and smelled fresh and clean. They had just installed new carpet and the room had a brand new LG TV and a fantastic kitchenette. All the cooking essentials were covered and there was a full freezer/refrigerator combo (no mini-fridge ice box!). The staff is very professional and polite. Nikkita and Athena were full of money saving tips and they remembered every one of the requests I had made with my reservation. The best part- the price tag. I love getting a great product at a great value, and Crestwood delivered. After trying several other hotels in Colorado Springs, Crestwood is the only one we've returned to, THANK YOU Crestwood Management & Staff! Keep up the great work!! Colorado Dog Whisperer"
