"This hotel could be amazing. One thing is that bad. Half are apartments, and the other half are rooms to stay in. Felt unsafe and wish this was a true hotel that had more Adminities. They have room to put in shops and food and make it grand. I most likely won't be back to this hotel unless they step it up some. This hotel has so much potential and history. Please do something great with it."

"Great experience at this property. While the location isn't ideal, the staff, especially Diane and Brighton, were exceptional and made sure all of our needs were met. (they even made sure I had a front row parking spot as I have some mobility issues). The restaurant on site was surprisingly good and we had a great dinner and complimentary breakfast as well. Customer service here is obviously a priority!"

"If I could give zero star to this hotel, I would. When we checked in, there was a young lady at the reception. She gave us the worst attitude while checking in and I can’t help but wonder if that has somehow to do with our race and ethnicity. Because in front of us there was a white guy talking to her and her attitude towards him was completely different. Then the room. There’s this weird smell in the room and hallway. Like somebody pissed on the floor. When we got to the room, guess what, the smell is there and there’s towel hanging behind the door of the bathroom. Clearly from the people who were using the room before us. That should tell you the cleanliness of the hotel. They gave us vouchers for the breakfast for the restaurant downstairs, and my god, they served us burnt pancakes. BURNT! The only good thing about this hotel was the elderly gentleman who was there when we checked out. Didn’t feel safe on the premise. In sum, horrible experience. Some may say that you get what you pay for but nobody deserves this kind of service."

"We live 40 miles from this property but wanted to come here to view the 4th of July fireworks. Even though we were on the second floor, the balcony view worked out fine. The mattress was fantastic. We had a great night's sleep. The heating and A/C is centralized, but there is an output fan in the room that you can adjust. We turned it off, but the air bleed was just enough to keep the room at a good temperature. The oversized outdoor pool was immaculately clean and obviously heated. The bathroom was small, the towels rough, and the shower needed grab bars. Since this is a 12 story building with residence on the upper floor the hotel has three top notch Otis elevators. The property is very tastefully landscaped and nearly like a park. Pop for the upgraded room so you face West for the mountain view and avoid the East side noise from Academy Blvd. For a 50 year old building it is obvious that money is being spent on it. The staff is great. This is a great value and a surprisingly good experience. They have 24 hour security which is important since Colorado leads the country in auto thefts."
